Great article on the Spurs playoff chances before the Houston game. This is a transcript of the part about the Spurs on his podcast. It's so funny that they can't believe the Spurs are this good when they go over the roster, but then they talk about Kwahi and Pop exploiting weaknesses of the other team with depth and matchups. And they play around with starting lineups. Good stuff

There are legitimate concerns, absolutely. There is a bit of 'smoke and mirrors,' but those things are actually the system and corporate knowledge and players that buy in. But they don't have many plus players and few players who have their best years ahead. They have money tied into old dudes.
However, you have Murray and Bertans, who might be good potential starters. Green and Mills have years ahead, Simmons might remain good. If they all stay. Otherwise you're not looking at an All-Star capable player anywhere. Fortunately the franchise is starting to pull (older) FAs. But there are some huge problems coming up.

Sounds like he's making an MVP case for Kawhi

He has another whole article from back when Kwahi was drafted that this was the third time the Spurs had grabbed a great player out of the draft (behind Robinson and Timmy). He couldn't believe that 14 teams let him slide. He's always been a Kwahi fan.

This 2 man big man lineup would throw analytics on its head if the Spurs can somehow pull this out of their ass. Post ups result in less Points Per Possession than 3's & shots at the rim, but if there are constant mismatches for the bigs that number could increase significantly. Problem is our bigs aren't aggressive enough, or in Gasol's case, past it. We've already overachieved this season, so whatever happens from here is what it is.
