Today's loss hurts but it was always going to be a monumental task to beta GS 4 times even with HCA after today had the Spurs won.

Clippers had Paul leave the game for 10 minutes and we still couldn't build on the lead. We also had a decent lead with 5 minutes left before Parker destroyed us.

So again, today's loss is a bummer but we've had worst since 2013.

Plus there was an underrated dirty "accidental" horn giving away our out of bounds play.. first time ive seen Holt actually lose his mind in a game

strangely nobody talks about that moment

That was some serious bullshit, Pop was losing his mind when that happened.

No shit, it was game 1 without 2 of our 3 best players. It was a tough loss, but we didn't get eliminated. Not even comparable or worthy of a thread.

Maybe to you and other people that quit before the series. But I went into this series expecting to win. I thought we had a great chance and we were fucking doing it, so to me, this loss hurts way more than most. Clippers game 7 - not even close for me. After losing game 6 of that series, game 7 loss didn't feel that bad as we could have wrapped up the series in game 6 at home.

This one game could have changed the entire series and given us the boost to win it or push it to the very limit - I'm talking chance to win it in game 6 or at least take it to game 7. Now with Kawhi injured, and the loss on top of that, it may have changed it completely yet again.

I would have liked to have seen what happened with Kawhi finishing out the game. If we lost like that, I could have taken it better. He was flat out dominating this game and I'm more devastated by his injury and him going out than the loss itself.

Fucking bullshit luck of these fucks, I don't even recall seeing anything like this in the 25 of so years I've followed the NBA. Has anyone else?

We could have won a chip this year. I'm more upset about this. Cavs cant stop the Spurs.

How about when Artis Gilmore couldn't get a shot up two feet from the basket down 1 to force a Game 7 of the WCF?

the Spurs have always gotten screwed in the playoffs - can't see a small market team winning it all. Throughout these last 14-15 years the Spurs should have gotten at least 3 more rings, at least.

Thats why its so sickening when they call us the Patriots of NBA. Patriots cheat and get away with it, get lucky bounces like that seattle finals. If gods rewarded us for being "classy" "doing it the right way" we should have at least 7 rings.

Pats took the air out of balls, Spurs took the air conditioning out of the game. Though that one affected both teams and was far from intentional. Big difference.

Though the RJ wink-wink opt out could have been called cap manipulation just like half the stuff the Pats do. Spurs would never pull what the Pats just did to Blount though and limit his options.
