Well they have zaza now, so now when we do it, they shouldn't complain because they have a dirty player. :lol

I don't remember Bruce doing it to anyone in the playoffs, especially not against Kobe or Lebron. He has too much respect for the game and those players to do that to them. The times he did it, it was mostly against players that were acting like bitches at the time - that's what I remember - Ray Allen, Chris Paul, they were acting like bitches in those games that Bruce retaliated. I seriously doubt he would have ever done that to Kawhi if he played against him.

Bruce admitted he did a few dirty plays, he admitted after he retired that a few of his plays were intentional, but to me he wasn't an overall dirty player. Zaza is a dirty player. That's the way he's always played.

Kobe even talks about Bruce being a tough defender. No animosity there. A lot of respect for each other.

Bruce did the same shit and we loved him for it.

Let's not become Phoenix Suns fans.

Retain some dignity -- it may be tough times these next few days.

I think Bruce was an overall physical defender. He wanted to play physical, old school defense. Yes, he definitely had dirty plays where he crossed the line. I don't think he went into any games trying to be malicious.

The Bowen card these jabronis are using is just an excuse to justify the Kawhi injury and it comes from a place of hatred. Bowen never injured anybody during the playoffs. All they can bring up regular season games against scrubs like Steve Francis and his feud with Vince Carter.

Has Bruce ever taken out a top 2 player in the league during the playoffs?

Exactly, he played physical defense just like Tony Allen did in his prime and still tries to do now (even Spurs fans were worried about him playing in the first round and being physical with Kawhi). When you play that physical, tough, rugged defense, people are going to say you're dirty. Zaza isn't a great defender. He's a dirty fuck that acts out in games when things aren't going well for him or his team.

The beefs Bruce had were with some of the biggest bitches in the NBA at that time. Ray Allen, Vince Carter, Steve Francis - all whiney bitches back then. Chris Paul - real bitchy player.

I have said Bruce has done dirty things. I still don't think he was a dirty player like Zaza, though. If you guys want to disagree with me about Bowen being dirty, start typing instead of posting one sentence answers. He was no more dirty than Tony Allen, and I don't here people calling out Tony Allen for being dirty. Kobe Bryant has given both Tony Allen and Bruce Bowen props for trying to play tough defense on him. Get out of here with all this bullshit.

I mentioned the same thing earlier, they also have Draymond so nut shots should be fine as well.

And if that isn't cheaper than anything Bruce Bowen has done, then I don't know what is. What a fucking joke.

:lol But according to Warrior fans he's not dirty since he's never injured anybody.

Every team has had players that toe that line. Doesn't make it any less infuriating when some no talent goon takes out your best player on a dirty play.

Kobe never said Bowen is a dirty player and he always was looking for the matchup to test himself.
To frickin say Bowen was dirty so Zaza makes it even is beyond any common sense

How the fuck it makes anything even? !

Many are band wagon fans, some not even basketball people, they have no idea what actually occurred. Some didn't see it, others just cheered because they thought Steph knocked down a 3, some were so attached to their yellow tshirt they forgot a game was on.

And they bringing what Aldridge 'did' /Mike comments/ and even Manu under the basket like he was intending to injure GS squad :D

I mean kids talk. No! He did it as well

Nice distraction to what Zaza did and tbh everything is now misty like it was normal and Pop overreacted.

Now- take a look what 'Take that for data' did. And that was just complaining about not too much whistles not causing a season ending injury.

To add to that- what Pop said- Leauge already prohibited that kind of closeouts and ppl crying like frickin Zaza did not stepped into the space of Kawhi

Bowen was dirty as shit. Why Spurs fans have to fight that is beyond me. Should not affect what Zaza did.

As if there were any GS fans back when Bowen played :lol

Spurs usually played there on a back to back after a game in LA and they'd play the reserves and win big every time.

Your blind hatred of anyone and anything Georgian is very obvious. I'm sorry for what Stalin did to your country, but it's time to leave that in the past tbh.

Stupid people couldn't point out Poland on a map and think Georgia is a US state, not a country. They also wouldn't know who Stalin was tbh.

I'm sure GSW fans won't whine when someone does that to Curry or Durant bc they had Zaza Gabor on their team.

Coach Nick came down on this side. Whatever, but the shittiest thing was when he said, "Is Zaza the dirtiest player in the NBA? No, that's Bowen." Bowen hasn't played in almost a decade, fucktard. Even if he was dirtier (and he was dirty as all hell), how does that affect Zaza's current candidacy?

Don't like what Bruce did and don't like this crap now. It is especially infuriating that the most superteaming super team ever, with a bunch of gloating punks has to injure the other team's best player to avoid being blown out, and get credit like they overcame some adversity.

I love Bowen as a Spur, but he played dirty against jump shooters and that's non debatable. He knew he had to take the dirty work for that milk & cookies gang to work, and that's a great thing for me as A Spurs fan, can't say the same from other people perspective.

Durant jumps 1 foot up and lands forward and gets his front foot caught.

Kawhi fadeaways 2 feet up, 1 foot back and zaza catches his back foot. WTF are they smoking? :lol

So shame coach Nick had not enough footage from 60s and 70s

Then Zaz would occur pure angel and excused for injuring Kawhi
