Kevin Garnett: (Knee) Returns to Practice

Update: Garnett, who sat out Wednesday night's exhibition against the Bucks to rest a right knee that bothered him last season, returned to the court for practice on Thursday, the Associated Press reports.
Recommendation: The Timberwolves are taking the cautious approach here with Garnett, but at the moment his knee issues are nothing to get overly worked up about.

hmmmmm.
sounds liek they are trying to make it look like it's no big deal....but to sit ou to rest a problem form LAST season?
and didn't he spend the off season traingin in hte sand in Cali to lessen the load on the knee?
I have a sneaking suspicion that his knee probs are worse then they want to let on.
I'd bet a good $5 on it.

Timberwolves forward Kevin Garnett was able to participate in practice on Thursday and should play in tonight's game against the Pacers, according to the Minneapolis Star Tribune. The team had been playing it safe with Garnett, keeping him out of Wednesday's preseason opener because of knee soreness.

When you are a seven-footer and you're asked to carry a franchise for the majority of your career, you're knees are logically going to be sore. Fantasy owners should expect KG to be ready to go when the ball drops. There will be very few players who will put up better numbers than the "Big Ticket" this season.

Even though Garnett is young he has alot of miles already since he came from High School. He might be wearing down.
