Not if they sweep all the way to the finals and then beat the EC champion in 5 or even 6

They didnt breaak a sweat but if they demolished their way to the title doesnt matter

On the other hand their 2015 championship has a huge *

They struggled vs injured teams and won just because of Kylie and even then they almost lost :lol

Depends on if Leonard comes back and how. If he comes back 100% and GSW still kicks their ass, it'll be a small asterisk. But if Leonard is out or in bad shape, it's be an asterisk the size of your mom's butthole.

Well that'll be one big asterisk then.

No. Injuries are a part of the game and they earned the number 1 seed, so they earned the easier path. I love the Spurs and hate to see them lose, but clearly GSW have an unearthly arsenal. I don't know that Kawhi changes the game 2 result.

No. The only people who talk for years about asterisks are losers. They tried to lay that shit on the Spurs. Nobody pays attention to it. Nobody except the fans of the teams who think they got "rooked", and the few Spur fans who actually worry if somebody hurts their feelings by not giving their team proper credit.

Fuck the asterisk, and any talk about one. The Spurs have had a great run so far this year, even if it ends here. And laugh your ass off in the future when GSW fans cry about the bad luck they had in some other season.

I don't agree with this, every team they have played so far has had a starter missing, if that's not an asterisk I don't what is.

They've been fucking lucky for years, I'll give you that. And last year they were supposedly unbeatable, but they went up against a healthy team and got their asses kicked.

Since the last 3 seasons they have been playing so far 11 teams, 9 out of those 11 were injured teams.
Healthy teams... they won OKC and they lost to the healthy Cavs.

GSW ain't gonna win shit. Cavs gonna run a train on that ass. And GSW gonna low-key like it because that's how they get down.

They were perfect against the shitty Cavs last Finals, never had any serious competition in their lives, no SuperLakers, no CHeat, no good Mavs, no 2014 Spurs.
This is a very weak era and lots of people think they are the second coming of Jesus, they cant handle Lebron and a bunch of scrubs but nobody wants to say that.
They could not handle the Spurs until they took their best player out.

I mean...fuck GSW and all, but to be fair....they were up 3-1 in the Finals until Donkeyface finally got called out for his antics and Bogut went down.

It could have gone either way anyways, but saying they got their ass kicked may be a bit of a stretch.

Which shows how much one missing starter can mean to a team, Draymond missed one game and the dubs completely went off the rails and lost 3 straight.

Donkeyface got called out because he had too much flagrants, not just the Lebronīs nuts thing.
Bogut was a hack that only served to make illegal shit.
If a 73 win team makes 3-1 happen, it means they got their ass kicked big time, especially during game 7 they were 4 minutes something without making a basket if that is not ass kicking I dont know what it is.

Disagree tbh

The same exact thing happened in our last meeting of the season and they came back

I truly believe they knew they were coming back.

If Kawhi had not gotten injured I still see them coming back on us but we would have won by just a couple of points with Kawhi

Very unimpressive title. I mean they didn't overcome shit. Sweeping the finals makes it look worse. Of course they are dominating as a team. They are performing under zero pressure and often win even when they don't perform well.

When Kevin Love and Kyrie Irving went down in the Finals vs GS that was pretty bad tbh
