Doesn't have to be Paul George, but PATFO will have decide if they want to stay big or go small.

In a heartbeat. Before they had a chance to regret it.

That wouldn't be a fair return for Indy, obviously. And they already have a young, promising big.

What about LMA for Al Horford? Would y'all do that?

That's a tough call. I feel like it would yield similar results. Lose the chemistry built with Aldridge, but take a chance that maybe he brings a little more to the table. I would chance it.

I feel it'd just be the same outcome.

Both big soft players.

I'm one of the few that still has hope for LMA so I wouldn't make that trade, obviously.

Just trying to gauge how deep the LMA hate runs.

I am sure every team is just lining up to take an over paid 7'footer Who fades away faster than Lebron James hairline. Its harsh but as a fan he hasn't lived up to the billing.. And i was 1 of the many who where jumping up and down the day we signed him, thinking race for seis.

I was excited too, but that's because I watched that 2014 series against Houston. I thought he was going to be awesome playing for the Spurs.

I didn't account for him coming into camp out of shape twice in a row. He looked sleek and agile in Portland during the 2014 season. He started off great in 2015 too - up until he had that thumb/hand injury, he was playing great that season, but the injury definitely affected him the rest of the way as he didn't finish that season out too great.

I want to see how he does the rest of this series, but I always thought that if he can come into camp in the best shape of his life, then I'd give him one last chance. However, I also didn't account for him being so mentally weak, and I value that quite highly, so even if he does come into camp in great shape, then I'm still not sure I'd want him if he is this mentally weak/fragile. I need to see how he finishes out this series first before making that determination, though.

I am pretty clear about one thing, though, and that is if they don't trade him during the free agency period and decide to keep him a bit longer, and he doesn't put in some serious work during the off-season, I would then trade him immediately.

Wouldn't Indy want to trade him and get something in return rather than letting him go off into FA for nothing? Not to say LA wouldn't leave too though...

No.
Lateral move at best.
A lot of the same attitudes as Softridge.

No way. PG ain't soft. He made the Pacers more competitive against the Cavs than the Celtics and Raptors. Pair him with Kawhi and you'd have a Jordan/Pippen combo. Then, if Murray could become a Harper, you'd have a devastating defense against the top 3 positions. Basically, you'd just need a Luc Longly big, which are a dime a dozen. If You switched LMA for PG, with this team, I'd pick them over GSW.

Sounds good.
Maybe I am putting too much on the Pacers 27 point choke vs LeBrons this playoffs.
Had Aldridge written all over it.
That and PGs injury history.

Boogie is the one, a,powerful post up 5, is almost extinct in the league and something the Dubs and Cavs have no answer for. A DeMarcus for LaMarcus trade would be perfect. Well LMA for AD would be perfect but 0 chance of that.

Cousins to the Spurs would give theSpurs a monster on the inside, and becoming a Spur would change Boogies perception around the league. A Cousins with the right attitude could be an heir to Timmay. He has the physical tools and the nasty that the Spurs currently lack.

Boogie is exactly what the Spurs need. A tough guy inside who isn't afraid of banging bodies. He's a counter to Zach Randolph and something that gives us an edge, instead of pussy ass Aldridge and Gasol.

Why the hell would the Pacers even want to acquire him? They have a better, younger, cheaper version of LMA in Myles Turner and they could get so much more for George.
