7 years later and a championship in that span is not so bad though

Every time the Spurs got swept during the Pop era they have gone through some major retooling. I remember after '01 they went out and got Parker,Bowen,Jackson and a year later added Manu. After getting swept by the Suns a year later they drafted Kawhi. I'll be interested in seeing the type of moves they will make during the off-season.

Hopefully they remove the old guys and surround kawhi with more athletic bigs

Assuming Pau opts in this off-season, won't be that much cap room. Will have to wait another season when Parker's and Pau's contracts ends (asuming Pau opts in).

Next year will be a retooling year and hope the FO preps the team for a run at the summer of 2018.

Season should be viewed as a success. Made it to the conference finals despite Kawhi's injury (winning two games against the third best record in league) and not much can be expected against the Ws without Kawhi. Whatever

Porker, Manu, and Gasol all need to be let go on the off-season. The future is in Kawhi, Murray, Simmons, Bertans, etc.
