Win one without Kawhi, and show us you have fortitude. If not, they can fuck off.

This is a test more on LMA. Or he's traded this summer. It would've been better if we've swapped him to Cousins when we had the chance.

I think the Spurs can play winning bball vs GSW, but not for 4 qtrs, sorta like Game1.

We never had a chance for that.

At least Cousins wouldn't shy away from contacts. I'd give Gasol too to sweeten the deal :lol

This isn't a test, kawhi is injured, he won't play game 4 either, it's over

Would Kawhi be playing tonight if the series is tied 1-1? I don't know. Kawhi's ankle is quite tender right now.

:lol no... his franchise player is hobbled and vulnerable to re-injury/aggravation. you're overthinking this pretty heavily. to your credit, you usually underthink

He's tryna see who's worth keeping after the season an who they should get rid of... Who's gonna step up.

Poop is doing the right thing here. No point risking the future when there'll be more chances to take down the Warriors with a healthy Kawhi. This one-man team easily dominated those Twinks. The addition of another semi-decent wing in the mound of Simmons will ensure this going forward, even if the Twinks can somehow retain all their All-Stars despite the salary cap.

Well what are you going to get for him? He is a very good player, not great but good. He is not old so what are we replacing him with?

With the way he's getting his teeth kicked in by Javale McGee I'll take salary cap space for Softridge.

That is not really an explanation. You just don't like him. The point is to get better not worse. Who is replacing him?

I don't love him, but he is pretty good. I think to win it all next year we may need to add Chris Paul add him with LA, and Leonard.

How do you propose adding Paul without salary dumping Softridge? The Spurs would also need Gasol to opt out.

I just read an article that said they would need pau to opt out and then they could basically afford it. We have a pretty damn good GM. Even though everyone around here likes pretend they are GM's.

The Spurs would also need to salary dump Parker, Aldrdige, or Green while also letting Simmons, Mills, Ginobili, and Dedmon walk and they'd have to dump their first round pick, assuming Lee isn't opting out after that knee injury tonight. Paul is going to be eligible for something like $32 million or so next season.

Can Cousins play defense? It would be tough if he blew assignments againt these fucking shooting of the warriors

Spurs are lacking MLE or lower type guys (non-rookie scale) producing above their value once Mills is a FA. Tough to be competitive with that and three bad cap hits

Well manu is likely to retire and Tony, after that leg injury is basically completely useless at this point. The reality is we are going to need a major upgrade at point guard next year.
