What does that mean for him next season?

Good squad player to have, unfortunately was thrown into the fire too many times by Pop (as does any vet who's a TOSB)

Hopefully this means he signs up for the minimum again

It wasn't always pretty, but very happy with Lee this season. Showed more heart than Gasoftdridge did consistently. TBH I don't want Lee back though. Spurs need to get younger unless he plans on signing for the minimum again

Is the training staff having these guys eat donuts and work out in a pool or something?

Lee has always been injury prone, so i expected him to get injured at some point this year. Surprised it happened so late. I imagine this means Kawhi is definitely not playing monday.

They are getting heavy minutes suddenly with a year of bench sitting under their belts, and doing so against starters for the best team in the league. Their muscles don't have time to recover during those transitions, and they put excessive strain on their tendons because of the "moment". It's why Derrick Rose keeps getting injured, you push that much force that fast to that load and something will give eventually.

Torn patellar tendons take 6 months to recover from (before he can START to slowly start playing basketball again). At his age, wouldn't be surprised if this was it for D-Lee in SA.

That's too bad. He's the player that West wasn't.
Cornell and Lee in the same week. Legends.

Again, next year is supposed to be when the two extra roster spots kick in, so the Spurs can actually handle tabling Parker and Lee for part of the season while paying their two-way guys to be on the regular roster. I think they can weather this if they can make the right moves around those injuries. The much better concern for the Spurs is making sure Lee doesn't opt into his deal. It would be a huge waste of cap space.

Great so we are on the hook for this guy next year if he opts in? Paying a guy who wont even play, awesome

Anytime someone starts playing good against the Warriors, they get hurt. lol, the Warriors can't have any adversity, they might choke. The basketball gods won't allow it.

Before this series I never believed in the existence of black magic, satanic rituals. Now that the spurs are now on the list of teams that suffered injuries against the warriors it makes me wonder if the warriors are participating in these types of rituals.
