...Then we damn well better be able to beat Golden State in game four. To be swept would be embarrassing, especially with the Celtics' performance tonight.

Kawhi is much better than IT and Warriors are much better than Cavs. Not that comparable imo.

The Spurs are a lot better than the paper tiger that is/was the Boston Celtics, though, tbh.

Eh. The Celtics actually have great backcourt depth, unlike us. Our guards can't dribble with both hands and their go to move is feeding Aldridge in the post.

Let's take a look at our starting backcourt

Game 1:
Green - 8pts, 2ast, 3TO, 3/5FG
Mills - 5pts, 3ast, 1TO, 1/8FG

Game 2:
Green - 5pts, 0ast, 0TO, 2/7FG
Mills - 5pts, 1ast, 1TO, 2/6FG

Game 3:
Green - 7pts, 2ast, 4TO, 3/11FG
Mills - 7pts, 6ast, 1TO, 2/10FG

Spurs would be wise to bite on Bradley or Smart this offseason when they draft Fultz.

Celtics have legs, run and play at a faster pace, they are not afraid to shoot the 3 we cant say the same about our team.

LeBron also had 11 points and 6 turnovers. We need KD, Steph and Klay to have similar performances to win. Warriors know they have the advantage now if they win tomorrow they're going to be ready to step on their throats.

1/8, 2/6, 2/10 FG

Can we dump Patty already? This guy clearly has no depth aside from coming off the bench for some brief shots. He's clearly shown himself to be a defensive liability as well

Who are you trading away for them? Is there anything outside of Kawhi they'd want? Remember their roster is full.

Anyway, lol @ OP comparing IT's impact to Kawhi's.

Truth bomb. Spurs fans should truly boycott the games if that Microwave gets paid by us this summer. Time to send Buford a message that his alcoholic ways don't fly anymore.

Lamarcus. Celtics have Amir Johnson and Gerald Green starting in May. Makes too much sense IMO.

It may fly if they strike out on Hayward and Millsap or whoever they target as they won't have cap space next offseason. LMA would fit well with Horford and isn't as horrible as some here make him out to be.

I really like Bradley and would actually keep Green/Simmons too and play more small ball it he's a FA in a year and will get PAID. Smart is a lot cheaper but more of a risk.

Good post tbh :tu

It would also help us clear 10-15M off the books to make way for CP3. Moving Danny or Pau would get it done.

CP3-Bradley-Kawhi = :lobt2:

I'm happy for them. This whole undefeated thing has gone on long enough. Don't know why our fans have to be insecure... Hopefully we can get one tomorrow and share in the joy.

Damn I'd love to get a hold of Bradley if Boston wants to salary dump him.

The Spurs should have got him instead of LA. He makes the other players better.

Spurs are also missing their PG and now their backup PF, to go along with our star. Celtics also have 2 capable scorers in Bradley and Horford. We have one in LMA. Regardless, we also would need a role player to have an outburst game. Today Smart scored 28 points and hit 7 out of 10 threes. He shot 28% from downtown this season.

For the Spurs to win, LMA would need have a good scoring outfit. Gasol would need to put up good numbers. And Green or Simmons would need to have an outburst. Plus we will need to defend. All in all, the Celtics team has more options without their star than ours.

Celtics without IT are much better than Spurs without Kawhi (and Parker and Lee). Only hope at this point is that Curry or Draymond break an ankle in the first half of Game 4.

First I.T. is such a defensive liability against Cavs that they are probably better without him.

Second, GSW are BETTER than the Cavs. Way better.

Boston scrapped their way back into the game but it was also more about the Cavs being disrespectful. Also Lebron not playing well for the first time in a long time. This only makes it more difficult for us because Golden State won't underestimate us like Cleveland did Boston.
