Jazz rookie point guard Deron Williams has been inconsistent so far in preseason camp, but he did a lot to alleviate lingering concerns in Thursday's preseason game against the Pacers. Williams put up 17 points, with 13 of that coming in the fourth quarter, and he added six assists on the night. "He's going to be a good player," Jazz coach Jerry Sloan told the Salt Lake Tribune after watching Williams take charge of his new team at the end of a close game, directing the offense, making critical decisions, and sinking important shots.

Williams is currently No. 1 on the Jazz depth chart at the point guard position and it's hard to imagine Milt Palacio or anyone else taking that job from him. Other than the Hornets Chris Paul, Williams is one of the better bets to contribute to fantasy teams in his rookie year. When you sit down at the draft table, consider him a top-30 guard this season.
