Skip Bayless just said he's the reason Mills played bad and that he'd never seen someone do that to him before.

That's true, but I'm wondering with all these PG getting $200mil contracts, with GS need to let Clay go in order to sign Curry?

Did Skip go on to talk about how well Zaza can shut down Lebron?

He will be needed to guard Kyrie. They really don't need his offense with Durant being there. I could see him leaving if Durant stays long term.

Lmfao prime Parker made Klay his hoe.

Pity Mills sucked because he's not a starting PG.

6'7" SG locked down a mediocre, streaky 5'11" SG whose only skill is shooting 3s? Wow how impressive :wow

So Klay can lockdown a second string undersized shooting guard? Who knew!

Helping Mills case in FA. He should have seen Mills against OKC in the playoffs last season. Definition of streaky, no defense playing undersized SG reprising his role in the big stage.

lol... tons of defenders could shut Patty down, how many teams have as many lock down defenders as gs though? Skip per par, such sensationalism

yes, Klay shut him down completely, but that shows the whole problem of that series ... GS put one of their two best wing defenders on fucking Patty Mills ... if that happens you know its a lost cause

Skip, new spurs fan. Watches box scores and not the game. Patty dribbling is why patty sucked

No KL, no Tony...

They had plenty of options. And with Thompson having no pressure offensively poor Patty was dead meat. The old Ginobili setting up Mills in the open floor is no longer. It's not like he's gonna need to cover Green. You are not gonna put him on Gasol or Aldridge. This is actually where Simmons athletic ability is useful. (If he could just shoot)

Putting Thompson on Mills is overkill to the extreme. Gotta shut down Patty from penetrating and dishing, he running the machine... No, not exactly. In fact not even close.

Same. I don't see how they can keep Klay, Curry and Durant (and Green). It doesn't make financial sense and they don't need all of them to be competitive. The problem is that KD might not want to be in GS more than this or next year and could decide to go somewhere like Washington or Boston or LA.

I don't think people have realised how bad Thompson has been defensively the past couple of seasons. He started out as a good defender, now he's terrible, probably their worst wing defender on their roster. For someone who struggles to do anything off the dribble against any sort of capable defender, there's no way you'd pay him.

Durant's arrival put Klay as an odd wheel. He's playing a strange role now. I can see some team snatching him up soon, if GS doesn't part ways with The Servant.

That's one of the problems with Green not being a scoring threat. He's shown flashes of doing it. End of game 5 against the Rockets. Or 2013 Finals through first 5 games. To beat the Warriors everyone has to be a threat. You can no longer have specialists.

I don't think Tony is a championship level point guard anymore either, but pre-injury he was better than Mills. Mills C-, Tony C++.
