This isn't Curry's team anymore. It's why they went after Durant. Curry is nothing more than a sidekick. This was proven the past 2 Finals. Point guard led teams don't win championships anymore. Cavs were depleted in 15 and Curry failed in 16.

They probably don't "need" him to beat the Cavs, but with him it's a sweep as opposed to going 6 games.

Hey fuck face....Look at this whole thing like you would a Big Black Dick. The splash brothers represented two cum filled nut sacs (i.e SPLASH)..they then went out and added a long ass Dick to fit in between....now you have a Big Black Dick with big juicy balls shooting massive loads. That's the analogy here....:lol

If KD continues to dominate this series and gets FMVP, in years time it could be perceived as the moment when LBJ stopped being the best in the league. Torch passed to KD and Steph.

An alpha would have finished the job last year when they were up 3-1. They wouldn't choke, quit and join the team they just got done choking and quitting against. Durbeta could average 100 PPG this series and it wouldn't make him an alpha.
Durant is just another front running faggot. That's why he has been a perfect fit for the warriors.

Durant is on a loaded team and he seemed to be the guy they let roam free in Game 1. Now he feels no pressure because they have so many weapons. Honestly he did the same thing Lebron did with the Heat. The "If you can't beat'em join'em" phrase comes to mind. Making super power teams. lol @ today's NBA.

Exactly. I've always said that the Warriors are front runners, and KD was also one of the biggest front runners in the entire league, so I guess I shouldn't have been surprised when he announced that he's joining the Warriors last off-season. Like you said, perfect fit.

This entire environment is created by idiotic casuals and talking heads comparing number of rings to greatness.
Who is better? A player who won 5 rings on loaded teams or the one who won 2 rings with mediocre talent? According to most people, it's the farce with 5 rings.

This nicca cant help himself:lol most people casual and metric nerds place LeBron over dudes with 5 rings including Magic and Timmy ...but my guess, based on your posting history ...is not who you were referring to. If they did not:wakeup why would LeBron be compared to the Goat already?!

The thing that surprises me the most is Durant's defense. I don't remember him being this good.

You comparing Tim Duncan to Hakeem?

He was too busy standing around scratching his nuts while RW was playing runaway slaveball.

I actually thought the Spurs could get his defensive potential maximized if he joined the Spurs. I would have moved LMA to center and interchanged Kawhi and Durant at PF. I actually thought he could reach his defensive potential with the Spurs. I didn't think he'd get there with most other teams, but it looks like he has doing it there in Goldenstate. I also don't think Scott Brooks and the Thunder emphasized defense that much. It was more Westbrook and Durant fighting it out for Alpha status - that's what he spent his time working on.

Magic to Hakeem.
Duncan's team weren't that loaded, especially not 99 , 03 and 14. A case could be made for 05, 07, and even then they were no match for those 80s Lakers and Celtics teams, or even the GSW for the last 3 years.

why do ppl say he improved his defense this year?
his playing on a stacked team where all of them play some form of defense, either his allowed t o roam more freely cause of the weapons on the team that the opponent has no answer to.... then the pace the gsw plays at and building up leads where the opponents starts trying to trade baskets leading to poor shots and bricking them that's not even contested possessions
