sure, and in one of those losses he nearly got finals mvp anyway

being 3-5 in the finals is more impressive than being 3-4, 3-3, 3-2, 3-1, or even 3-0 in the finals. why give somebody credit for getting knocked out in an earlier round?

Because you actually need to win to get to the finals.

So now everyone will pick on LeBron when in reality the one who deserves to be picked on is the pus*y b**ch Kevin Durant who chose the easy path to a ring by joining a 73-9 team that already won a ring without him, they didn't need him. Durant is playing well for them now but Durant knew he would make this team scary good when he signed and wins would be easy and most NBA teams they would just dominate. LeBron has made it to 7 NBA finals in a row, Durant deserves more criticism tbh.

I can only imagine the flack he's be copping if he's lost 7 finals. The fact is, as good as he is, I reckon only once (against the Thunder) has he had the better team.

Media's been trying to push him as maybe being better than the GOAT but there's no way that's going to happen.

Everyone knows that the Heat got Carlisle'd by the Mavs zone defense but LeBron deserves plenty of blame in that series as well. :lol having a mid 30's Jason Kidd lock you down for stretches during the Finals

Getting swept looks bad on him. All he has to do is win 1 game vs golden showers. And he failed

This.

Lakers hate is a way to vent frustration for the chance of LBJ to become bigger than Kobe. They have this fixation with Kobe to the point they become fundamentalists.

Kobe never won without having a true dominating star next to him. Shaq or Pau (the 10-years ago Pau not the useless player he has become nowadays). I remember everyone was outraged when the league didn't sanction his trade to Lakers for pennies.

He went to the Finals 8 times. If he was in the West, how many times would he get there? I'm guessing 2, tops. He'd have to get past Shaq/Kobe or Jim's Spurs. On second thought...he wouldn't have any Finals appearances if he was in the West his whole career. And we are supposed to give him props for getting out the East? That's what he supposed to do. That's like a married man bragging that his wife let him hit it on their wedding night. :lol

Actually, OKC was a decent-sized favorite in that series, tbh..90% of this forum and the media picked them to beat Miami, as well..there's a lot of revisionist history going on with that series:lol

Lebron-led teams have only been favored in 2 of his 8 Finals appearances(2011 and 2013)

As always they're gonna go after the white man. Love:::they're gonna beat his white ass till he can't sit down. They'll also get that other white guy Korver. There ain't no danger beatin' on the white guys. That's permitted and you won't end up on a bread line for doin' it. Pick on a black and you're susceptible to bad things.

If he's making the finals because he's just so good, then when he loses five times when he gets to the finals, that shouldn't boost his resume.

If he's making it to the finals every year because the east is devoid of talent, then i suppose I'm okay with giving him a pass in the finals. It's not his fault the east is trash, and the Finals are usually the WCF, with the real finals being a formality. But LeBroom stans try to play both sides.

I guess that had a lot to do with Harden just being on fire against the Spurs and as good as we were that year (even though we didn't really have Danny Green yet) it just seemed like they were unstoppable when they beat us.

Lebron did his part. Game 4, up 2-1 and having 3-1 all but sealed with a 74–65 early in the fourth quarter.
To a man, the Dallas roster said it was Wades showboating after a basket that lit a collective fire under them.

Along with heavy choking by Wade in the final minute.

Who gives credit to Lebron for losing the finals? nobody. What spurraider21 is saying is that winning 3 championships and getting to the finals 5 more times is better than winning 3 championships and losing before even making the finals. I think this should be an obvious reasoning for all non-dumbasses, tbh.

The fucking rampant stupidity with posts like this is why ST still exists.

There's no such thing as "all but sealed" up 10 points at the start of the 4th. It's 10 fucking points. Teams go on 10-0 runs all the time, in just a minute or two. If it was up 30 with 8 minutes to go, then sure. The Warriors were up 16 at the start of the 4th in 2013 in SA, and they lost.

If you think being up 10 with 12 minutes to play means you have it all but sealed, do you think being up 5 with 6 to play is the same "all but sealed" or how about 2 minutes left to play, up 3 points?

What is the "all but sealed" cutoff?

a. Watch the game.
b. Notice the score? Very defensive battle. Yes, some games and teams a 10 point lead is huge.
c. Repeat, Wades dumbphuck taunting is what lit a fire under the Mavs.
