There isn't much of a difference between the 3, tbh..

actually after Game one of the WCF I remember how Jalen and Chauncey and many were saying it is obvious who the best player in the Western Conference and the 2nd best player in the league is (Kiwi). This Durant love is recency bias. Because as of a month ago he was clearly #3.

IDK, only one of those players didn't have to form/join a super team to win a ring.

Yeah...I don't think anyone can really argue that one is a ton better than the other. I do think LeBron is #1 by a somewhat comfortable margin though.

Dominos has by far the easiest job, obviously, but it's not like we've never seen him dominate before..they're pretty comfortably the 3 best players in the world..

Lebron is by far the best playmaker, but Dominos and Kawhi are much better defensively..

I realize it's not a consensus. I just tabulated the votes.

Only one of those players is just hitting grandma jumpers while the other 2 are well rounded players.

Considering respective rosters, I give Kawhi an edge over Dominoes: he has to be the primary playmaker and best defender on his team--none of which is KD's responsibility with Curry and Green around..And yet, Kawhi putting up the same numbers with exactly same outstanding efficiency and bigger impact in in relevant advanced metrics..

true no shame to be at any position in that group, best thing about Kiwi is he is still ascending, KD is in his prime and LBJ might be at his but on the edge toward slipping down portion of his peak. To me there is a clear line between these three and the rest of very good players, that just happen to not be at this level.

Don't care. The media always says the best player of the team that wins the title is the best player of the world. They said Tim was the best in the world when the Spurs won in '99, '03, '05.

Raymond covering his ass in large part on defense, and folks here act like this dude is carrying the same load as Kawhi..

The media is so volatile though.

Pretty sure it was Kawhi the media was hyping as the next best player before the warriors went on a 15 game run.

It`s so close. LeBron being the best player, KD being best offensive player, Kiwi being best defensive.

Lebron's not a two way player. Did he shut down Durant? Did Durant not bust the biggest shot of the series in transition right in his face? Lebron rests on the defensive end quite a bit, frankly.

How? Those numbers are fairly equitable.
