...at the highest level of play in his sport. :lol How the fuck is that possible? He has a decade's worth of championships. This is one of the greatest sports achievements ever, so I'm happy I got to see it.

Literally no other pro enjoys playing on clay(Nadal's domination being one of the key reasons likely). They need to remove it from tour completely, tbh.

Federer losing the 2019 Wimbledon Final is like the Spurs losing the 2013 Finals. He had 2 championship points and blew it, so that was his "game 6." Like Duncan in 2013, Federer is 37 and still playing at a high level. If he had finished it off, it would have been his greatest achievement in his career to beat another legendary player in his prime. Even in defeat, just coming as close as he did was still monumentally impressive and proves he's still the GOAT. For the Spurs, just coming that close proved everyone wrong that Miami was by far the better team.

The clay courts favor Nadal's game. He hits the ball with more backspin than any other player in the world. The clay is soft and "bites" the ball as it bounces, affecting its trajectory. Nadal has mastered this. Nadal is also supremely athletic.

BTW, my wife and I are huge Nadal fans.

VAMOS, RAFA!
