He was made fun of and slighted, set/left in a hole there in Oklahoma,,,assured that he'd be inert for Media to beat & harangue anytime they needed grist for their evil mill(s). He got his dander up & made good. USUALLY that is spirited by Media, honored & cited loudly and repeatedly. & then sometimes it ain't.

To Durant's credit he didn't burn publicly. I imagine though he sizzled in private. "I'll get them. I'll show them. I'll kill them." We've all been there, least ways I have.
