Obvious blown call and even Van Grunty noted a potentially game changing call as it would have been Durants third. Many one sided calls in this series. Touch any of the Twinkys? Automatic tweet. Donkey, PacaApe and the Twinks allowed to harass? Oh yes.

As I'm watching Malloy run down court it's like why are you placing yourself between the backboard and the play. Lame excuse.

Because he was the baseline out of bounds ref. He doesn't arbitrarily select his position. Regardless, during the foul he wasn't behind the backboard. He just wasn't paying attention. Perhaps the rim obscured his vision. Either way, the way players flop now and exaggerate contact, it's no wonder fouls that appear obvious upon replay get missed all the time.
