Are they gonna tear down the forum? The Forum is being used as an event center now. It's not bad. I caught Kanye there and they fixed it up nicely. I wonder if that'll stay the same.

Looks like it's going to be privately funded:

The Los Angeles Clippers (http://bleacherreport.com/los-angeles-clippers) will reportedly announce they are close to finalizing plans for a new stadium in Inglewood, California, on Thursday, according to the Los Angeles Times' Brad Turner (https://twitter.com/BA_Turner/status/875122105783771137) and Los Angeles Daily News' Vincent Bonsignore (https://twitter.com/DailyNewsVinny/status/875111998521982976).

Citing a source, Turner reported (https://twitter.com/BA_Turner/status/875134050922516480) Clippers owner Steve Ballmer will finance the stadium "100 percent with his own money."

Nathan Fenno (https://twitter.com/nathanfenno/status/875127242006732800) of the Los Angeles Times reported the Inglewood City Council will meet Wednesday to approve the exclusive negotiating agreement.

In February, the Los Angeles Times' Sam Farmer and Fenno (http://www.latimes.com/sports/clippers/la-sp-clippers-ballmer-arena-20170224-story.html) reported Ballmer had "multiple discussions" with Los Angeles Rams owner Stan Kroenke about his team building an arena in Inglewood near the future home of the Rams and Los Angeles Chargers.

The Clippers have shared Staples Center with the Los Angeles Lakers (http://bleacherreport.com/los-angeles-lakers) and NHL's Los Angeles Kings (http://bleacherreport.com/sacramento-kings) since the building opened at the start of the 1999-2000 NBA (http://bleacherreport.com/nba) season.

However, they reportedly haven't been in an advantageous financial position during their time as a co-tenant.

Last July, ESPN.com's Kevin Arnovitz (http://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/17156916/owner-steve-ballmer-exploring-sites-new-los-angeles-clippers-arena) reported the Clippers receive "a smaller share of proceeds from suites and club seats than the Lakers and Kings, according to sources, and a lesser say in scheduling and the overall fan experience at the arena."

In January 2013, the Clippers announced (http://www.nba.com/clippers/news/clippers-extend-their-staples-center-lease) they had agreed to a 10-year extension of their Staples Center lease. According to Arnovitz, the team plans to fulfill the terms of the lease before bolting for a new building.

My guess is it will be near the Rams stadium

Steve Ballmer would finance it himself as well. It's a good thing to have an absurd amount of fuck you money

...Donald Sterling has 2 Billion dollars of such. It was quickly stuffed into his pockets to that exact amount before they marched him up the scaffolding and lynched his fuckin' ass.

Avante get on this schizzz...

Rivers makes some great throws, but also some very bad ones. He's the ultimate risk taker. That really costs them when they're trying to cling to a lead.

Willingness to take risks is a big part of what separates franchise QBs like Rivers from game managers like Struggle. Furthermore, the Chargers have surrounded Rivers with garbage for years now. He has to take risks to give his team a chance to win. Not everyone has the luxury of one of the most stacked and dominant defenses in NFL history.

When they lost LT to old age and that dominant O-line was gone everything went down the drain for the Chargers. Rivers can't win shit without an OL, while RW has played and won without any resemblance of a decent OL his entire career.

Please. Struggle makes his O-line look worse than it is because he holds the ball for an eternity. Always has. Rivers' O-lines have been so bad that he barely has time to throw.

That's a pretty stupid argument when we're talking about arguably the most mobile QB in the game vs. the least mobile QB in the game. And Wilson doesn't take very long to throw... actually watch the games, please? Rivers' antiquated stand-tall-in-the-pocket style by definition is heavily reliant on having that O-Line in place. Wilson has more room for improvising instead of having to choose between a sack or a hurried throw.

The fact remains that Struggle's scrambling and improvising makes his O-line look worse than it actually is. I'm not saying they're Cowboys status in terms of talent, but they wouldn't look as bad if Struggle could stand tall and get the ball out quickly like real quarterbacks do.

Rivers' O-lines have been the double-whammy of bad and injury-prone. If anything, he's made them look better than they really are, which is scary to think of because they're already awful.

I've seen him get it out quickly quite a bit, especially in 2015. It depends on the situation and the pass rush.
