Clippers desperate to keep CP3. Even a plan to build a new stadium. It's a good direction, but would it convince CP3 to stay? If he wants to be another very good player without a ring, then yes. But if he wants to be part of the team that brought down a Superteam, then start calling your buddy LeBron to build a dynasty with Spurs. The difference he will make with eventually a lengthened career in the Spurs system. It's a no brainer I think.

If the Spurs put together a shit roster around Kawhi that has no chance for the Championship, I won't be mad at him at all for going to one of the LA teams, or even for asking for a trade before then.

Spurs would deserve to lose Kawhi if they keep surrounding him with the Patty Mills, Forbes, Danny Green, and Fatheads of the world while still giving big money and minutes to old men while he's in his prime.
