Everybody with half a brain knows Seattle fosters a better basketball culture_ That is what is missing when you move to a state like Oklahoma_ Seattle has a storied basketball history which would have promoted efforts to form a super team up there so that KD could ring_ OKC could care less about the Thunder or for that matter any professional sports team in their state_ All they have is the Sooners and that is really all they need_ It's time to move the Thunder back to Seattle and give them their storied SuperSonics name back and lure back their superstar from GS_

:lol Seattle's "basketball culture" is so strong that they still can't even get an arena built after a decade of crying about :cry "Sonicsgate." :cry

And Durbeta still would have left. The Sonics could have played on Mars and it wouldn't have changed the fact that Durbeta is a pussy who wants the easiest road.

He would've left no matter where the Sonics/Thunder franchise was placed

Most likely he would have still left knowing how weak willed he is but there's a better chance of him staying in Seattle than OKC. OKC is up there with Salt Lake City as being the shittiest city for a player to live in when it comes to the NBA. Seattle culturally is very similar to the Bay Area. I don't think living in the Bay Area would have had that much of an allure for Kevin had he been living in Seattle. Moving from Seattle to the Bay Area is equivalent to moving from Charlotte to Atlanta. In both cases the latter is just a bigger version of the former.

Seattle does have a better sports culture, he's right. The Seahawks have the best gameday fans in the NFL and it's not THAT close.

And 2017 FMVP still would have left. The Sonics could have played on Mars and it wouldn't have changed the fact that 2017 FMVP is a champion who plowed through LeHype easily. Would have been a LeSweep if not for LeRefs stealing game 4 tbh.

Agreed :toast
