Oldest player in the draft at 23 and played D-3 ball his first couple years of college. Crazy story. But kid can play. Definitely a Spurs type player.

Don't hate White, but I firmly believe the Spurs would be better off with Bell, or Bolden, or even Oliver instead of White.

Guard isn't that big an issue. Simmons on QO, Hanga itching to come over, Murray there, Forbes on a deal, Green still here, Manu leaning towards returning, Dangubic always a chance to develop late like Hanga ... White was kind of a luxury.

Meanwhile the only bigs on contract are a weak whining LMA and Bertans, with maybe Milutinov coming over, maybe not until next year.

ugh.

Combo guard covers patty and possibly Danny trade absence most NBA ready combo guard left long decent athleticism solid shooter although not a quick release and nice floater in the paint against bigger defenders strong character buffer pick imo if we have to gut the roster for cap space for a top 3 guy... plays solid perimeter d w length and is fantastic jumping passing lanes ... watch a lot of U of A basketball and a lot of pac12 hoops just my take no guarantee just think speaks more to them saying patty is gone and hoping to trade Danny to free up space

The only way I can like this pick is with a damn good screener. I am talking the brick wall kind of screener. He is going to need help attacking. Get some meat to lay out his defender and it is at least salvageable on offense. On defense it seems he is a bit of a question mark. He does seem to be in position quite often. I just wonder how he is battling through screens.
