Big ol Blakey opted out. As armchair GMs, we all still agree he's a mess we don't wanna deal with?

Way too injury prone.

And seems to go missing when it matters most.

Mixed version of Aldridge. I see that. His athleticism is tempting.

Don't want

Unless we can get Timmy back on the floor to offer coaching tips. Oh wait that was when he was an opponent...

If it means trading LMA for both cap space and redundancy, yes, please yes

He ended Tiago splitter's career, averaging a triple double on him, but he's not our biggest need. We need guards

I'd take him in a heartbeat. That's looking at it in a vacuum, because I don't know what else they would have to give up. But would he be a plus on the team? Damn betcha.

I say yes. He's fucked up before but overall got a good attitude. He needs an outside shot and hes undersized though but with LA being the way he is we need his replacement.

I like him a lot. His health is a concern. Let's not act like Spurs don't have a problem with Lamarcus...

Everyone saying that Blake can't stay healthy or play a full season.....well neither can Kawhi. You don't pass up on talent and athleticism like that if you have the opportunity to get it.

Griffin would give the Spurs another guy who could initiate the offense. He was surprisingly awesome doing it when Chris Paul was hurt a couple years ago.

when did we ever say we dont want blake? dude's awesome offensively. not as good as LMA defensively, though.

but given LMA's heart problems (not referring to his medical condition), it would be a slam dunk move. dont see it happening, unfortunately

Blake doesn't have heart problems - on any level.

As much as I wanna be in the "don't sign" camp, I'd be thrilled to wake up on day one of free agency and see he signed a deal

Yeah when I read guys reluctance I felt tempted to be sarcastic like ohhh guys really want KA to start after all, but with so many comparisons between White and him I felt like I have blabbed way too much about him already and I am self conscious...

But really, Blake, why not aside of really the punch he gave to a staff member why not? I don't know him enough personality wise bc I only watch the Spurs ... but guys getting picky in here... and I am like what? Guys would rather keep someone who doesn't want to play for the team or ?? I don't get it.

Secretly some want in reality a young Timmy back.

Hyper athlete and even though he's gonna start declining, Chip can get that jumper in smooth working order in no time. He has the tools for post moves, he just doesn't use them. I watched almost all of those murders :wow

Good one :tu

He's become a really good passer and has nice dribble for a PF... both things LMA doesn't have.

Haha! A lot of the folks on this board are clamoring for him. I'd love him as a backup but given our current PG situation, I couldn't imagine him at the starting spot :bang

Griffin's been a good jump shooter for years. He's the best all round offensive big in the league, he just can't stay on the court.

And seems to go missing when it matters most.

Chris Paul has been injury prone the last couple of years as well.

This. Parker is also a very good midrange shooter and some people don't believe it. It's as if players come into the league with bad jumpers and some people just never change their minds even when the facts change.

Well, if we're daydreaming and we want Blake for the athleticsim and muscle, why not bring Paul along with him for the bbIQ and passing. Griffen, Paul, and Kwahi would be a good trio of stars in the starting 5.

Not likely if Paul is, indeed, one of the reasons Blake is looking to leave the Clips.

The Warriors always feast on short-assed guards like Parker and Mills. CP3 is no different.
