The next big thing coming from Slovenia. And he should be a really big thing. The kid just turned 18 in February yet he was already a regular contributor for Real Madrid in Euroleague and Spanish ACB league. He was also 4 times the MVP of the round in Euroleage (2 times sharing the award). Basically there was only one guy in history of Euroleage that was even close to the production Doncic had at that age (Ricky Rubio). And Real Madrid is of course one of the powerhouses in Europe not just some small club. They won the Spanish cup competition, reached the final four in Euroleague this year and played in the ACB league finals. Doncic played major minutes in all off those events although especially in EL final four he underperfomed a little (but he is 18...). He will also be a member of Slovenian national team this year at Eurobasket and he is already considered to be one of the key players in the team (along Goran Dragic).
Stats:
Euroleague: 19.9 mpg / 7.8 pts / 4.5 rpg / 4.2 apg
ACB: 20 mpg / 7.8 pts / 3.3 rpg / 3.1apg
Doncic is a good shooter, passer and rebounder and also a decent defender. But his most glaring feature is insane basketball IQ, especially considering his age. His athletic ability is not at the elite level, but it should be ok and he can often compensate for it by playing smart. He is also a very humble guy with really good personality. Due to all of this I think he could be a great successor to Manu (of course a less athletic version of Manu but with similar crazy passes and fake moves) in the Spurs system. There is just one problem... He is widely predicted to be one of the top four picks in the 2018 draft.
And here is some video material (there is plenty more on youtube):

Passing compilation - part 1 (parts 2,3,4 on youtube...) (does include a lot of passes out to three point shooters so can be repetitive a bit sometimes)
