View Full Version : Will Julius Jones play on Sunday?

Anyone know???

If he doesn't play, I might lose my first game of the season. I don't want to lose my undefeated record.

I don't think he will be playing. Parcells he hasn't ever played a player who missed a full week of pratice. He also said that Julius is young so he doesn't know how he will play without pratice. So most likely no.

Check out the CBS/FOX shows at 11 am in the morning, they will say whos playing and not.

Yeah I thought he wasn't playing, and I heard about how Parcells doesn't play players who don't practice, but I wanted to be sure.


I didn't wanna leave him in and then try to change him while it's to late.

Parcells he would say if he is playing or not, Saturday. So it should be out already but I don't think he will be playing. Look for Thompson to get a lot of carries. He did pretty good when Julius went down.

You're probably right, but don't put it past Parcells to keep his information close. Thompson did well in what ended up extended garbage time, but Anthony Thomas could get a lot of carries just because Parcells doesn't trust rookies. I'd expect to see the Cowboys throwing to set up the run a second game in a row.

Yeah, Giants give up like 350 yards passing per game. The Cowboys shouldn't have trouble throwing it on them.

Yeah, Jones will return for sure. He probably could of played this week but they didn't wanna risk it because he didn't have any pratice.

:bang Now they said it is worse than they expected and he most likely won't play.....

Marion Barber lll has been working with the first team and could start this week but you never know with Parcells. It will be either Anthony Thomas, Marion Barber lll or Tyson Thompson.

From his performance last week, i'd go with Barber lll.

I don't think he's going to play this Sunday since he will have a bye week to fully heal. I think this is a bad decision considering this is one of our toughest games of the year and we need to retain our status as leaders in the NFC East.
