I don't understand these comments:lol if Green and Aldridge suck and you want them gone, how are the Spurs going to get good assets in return for them?

They should start. Started for a second-seeded team and started for a team that went to the WCF. Wanting to try something else is fine. Acting like the Spurs are terrible isn't.

Rest of league outside GSW and Cleveland was total shit last year, tbh. Spurs overachieved against a weak league. Spurs no better than a fourth seed next year with the same squad. Will get bounced in first or second round.

And with all our old guys? Manu and TP eventually returning? Gasol and LaSoftus? CP3, Harden, Russ, PG13, Butler, Super Friends in the Bay and others are licking their chops.

Just another instance of "get this guy out of here" with no thought as to who to replace them with. Salary dumping these two with no big FA signings lined up would be cutting off your nose to spite your face.

If the Spurs keep them, it might make for more effort from Lamarcus.
This could be a benefit for the Spurs and the competitiveness of the team.
If they aren't contributing and the team is struggling, they might get moved at the trade deadline.
I think Aldridge and to a lesser extent Green, will have a lot to prove.

LOL, after this horrendous start to the off-season, I now hope they are both back and starting.

Can't wait for bow-legged Green to clank threes and turn it over trying to dribble while LMA gets stripped by Harden and Curry in the post. :lmao

By Aldridge showing his weakness I'm sure it turned potential suitors off from the Spurs .Nobody wants to play with mental midgets.

Green was voted in NBA's 2nd team all defensive team. That counts for a lot.

well if aldridge is going to continue to get intimidated in the post and allow himself to be guarded by guards while throwing the ball all over the place except the hoop.. lol at least that part of the offense needs to die.
