Keep in mind that Maradona, the second greatest soccer player of all time after Messi is a crackhead and loves to do drugs and whores and not in that order.

Article states:

“Manu es muy amigo mío. Todavía no se sabe, pero se queda 2 años más en los Spurs haciendo Academia. Después viene a Argentina".

Translation:

Manu is a great friend of mine. Nobody knows this yet, but he is staying on the Spurs 2 more years doing an Academy. Then he will return to Argentina.

Maradona has a story of outrageous claims but at the same time he has contact with everyone he wants to, so he talking with Manu wouldn’t be something unbelievable… The Academy thing might be related to his brother joining the Spurs staff, about those 2 years I would say Manu probably plays next year and the next one he may retire but stay in San Antonio to help his brother with that proyect (He also said he wanted their kids to finish school before he goes back to Argentina)

Shit. A 1 year min contract would be sweet for the Spurs. Multi-year, they pay the full load.

WTF is an Academy?

To quote old pitcher Jim Bouton: "You start out learning to grip a ball. Then it ends up the other way around."

Welcome back, Manu!

The second greatest after MESSI??

Messi wasn't as good with his hands.

The biggest thing that stuck out to me was the number 2. I am not a fan of him staying more than one more year. If true this means that he may be getting a lot more than the vet minimum for staying. (sigh)

Fixed. Missi isn't even the best player today.

Maradonna is better Than Messi let's be honest for a second. :lol

But he's probably the least reliable individual in the world. :lol

I know Maradona is a legend and won the world cup with a hand ball, but seriously, no one should announce Manu's decision other than Manu.

For the last few years I've wanted his useless ass taken out behind the shed.

This year, zero fucks. Let him ride the bench for the wasted year.

Hes probably the GOAT at any sport

He took a bunch of argentine janitors as teamates and brought his country the ultimate title.

He even beat the steroid pumped german team in the finals.

I dont think any human has ever come close to such a feat IMO

Missi almost beat a Claudio Bravo-led team

And he had to go thru power teams like Bolivia and US of Gay to get there

As oppose to Ronaldo on the international stage, where he was great against Hungary and an injured Wales team :lmao

His teams always look better without him. Without Messi Argentina doesn't even qualify for the WC let alone go to the Final.

So nice to see two forums merge into one here :toast

Despite living in Canada for nearly 14 years it took me a while around to come around to hockey. But holy shit have the NHL playoffs been MUCH better than the NBA playoffs in recent years.
