- Only six NBA players have averaged four assists or more for 16 straight seasons: John Stockton, Jason Kidd, Kobe Bryant, Mark Jackson, Steve Nash and Tony Parker.
- He’s one of six NBA players with 18,000 points and 6,500 assists, joining LeBron James, Oscar Robertson, Gary Payton, John Stockton and Isiah Thomas.
- Parker is the first European player with 4,000 career playoff points and joined Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant and LeBron James as the only players with 4,000 playoff points and 1,000 career playoff assists.
- On Dec. 18, Parker became the fastest player in NBA history to reach 800 career wins, accomplishing the feat in 1,099 career games.
- Parker's 1.4 turnovers per game were the lowest total of his career. His assist to turnover ratio of 3.2 was the best of his career and 10th best in the NBA for 2016-17.
- Parker made 11 of 19 3-pointers in the playoffs (.579), the best percentage of his career with more than three attempts. His FG percentage of .526 (51 of 97) was his second-best playoff mark, behind the 2009 postseason when he shot .546 in five games.

Good stuff. Hopefully this injury regains his focus. We will see how hard he works and how good the usually awful training staff can be. Hopefully he hires outside sa organization.

A comeback will hurt the Spurs, just like when Dad Killer came out of retirement to at least surpass Wilt in the scoring book but at least he did it on a shitty team.
Spurs are heavy contenders and dribble boy gave his best, but now his body cant respond like it used to.

Tony wants a last contract like nigg Dirk tbh to complete 20 years... this is going to give him all the motivation he needs to train like a dog to come back strong from his injury.

Spurs roster is gonna be loaded with hungry players: Kawhi, LMA (contract year), Gay, Tony... it can be a 2014 receipt, need of a revanche, hungry players... dat roster is gonna surprise a lot of people imho

That'll be Kawhi.

Offence-only players don't belong in that conversation.

Lots of people says he's done and should retire. I could be a delusional TP9 fanboy, but I do remember him being our second best player in the p.o.'s, up until his injury. As this team is currently constructed, I'm 100% sure Tony Parker is our best point guard. There is not 1 better point guard on this San Antonio Spurs roster.

He's done sir........ let him go in piece and with dignity. These young guards in the league will eat this version of toney up🙈

I didn't say that was a good thing that he's our best option at pg. Just a fact. I love me some Dejounte Murray. I believe he should be the starter. Although watching him play in the summer league, he's gonna need time to develop into that pg we so desperately want in S.A. Do you believe Mills is a better pg than TP? What about Forbes? The rookie White? Who? Like I said Tony Parker is the best pg on this roster right now. I hope DJ eventually becomes an all-star pg. Or we pick up one of the young boys u speak of, by trade or free agency.
