This is something of a repeat, but the season is getting closer and closer and I think that we are getting a better idea of where the teams are likely to be.

The East:
Miami
Detroit
Indiana
New Jersey
Cleveland
Boston
Philadelphia
Washington

The West
San Antonio
the rest
Houston
Sacramento
Dallas
Denver
Minnesota
Los Angeles Lakers
Phoenix

Finals: Spurs beat the Heat in a seven game series.

Where do you have the teams, who will the Spurs vanquish in the Finals?

I'm not as high on phi as you are. They have two of the biggest basketball black holes ever known to man. Both have egos and c-webb is only good for some rebs a few assists and consistent clanking 15ft jumpers.

Philly will make the playoffs if AI has to carry the team on his back yet again. Although, Andre Igodala I think will be a big help them this season, as will Korver (hopefully), and Mo Cheeks>>>>>>>>>O'brien.

Granted they won't go far in the playoffs (probably not past the first round), but I think they will definitely make it. Plus, I think they will end up with a better record than Boston this season.

No doubt.

Philly is gonna be the #3 seed for the play-offs. They will be better than NJ and Boston.

:lmao :lmao :lmao Ok, that may be pushing the homerism a little too far Alvie. #3 seed?! I highly doubt that. Especially considering that there is the Cavs, Heat, Detroit/Indy, and NETs in front of Philly...

In case if you haven't noticed, the best records of each division get the #1,2,and 3 seeds.

Miami will be #1 from Southeast division.
Detroit or Indy will be #2 from Central division.

Why is it homerism if I think the Sixers will win the Atlantic division???

Their biggest threat is NJ. I like their chances.

I don't think Sixers can manage a better record than the Nets.....

BTW. What division is Cleveland in?

Like I said, I see Sixers with the 7th or 8th seed.

That scenario isn't possible.

The first 3 seeds of each conference are the teams with the best records of each division.

That's what I explained earlier, and is why the Sixers can be the #3 seed by just having a better record than NJ.

My only prediction is that the Spurs will start off slow, for about the first 10 games, and everyone will totally overreact, myself included. Then they will start to gel, and may the basketball gods have mercy on the rest of the league.
