My question is, why would shoe companies be signing a middle school kid? I have never heard of a shoe company signing a middle school kid or even a high school age kid. You have people like Lebron James that were phenoms in basketball and NO WAY would Nike have signed him that early on. Daniel Dubois is only 19 and the kid is a freak but hasn't got one of those big endorsements yet. Why? Because they are/were still kids and their bodies are still developing (as you may well know) and they could get hurt or have some sort of change before they become adults.
What kind of moron would say "Hey, this middle school kid ran a 20.0. Let's sign him to a major deal. Even though he can't race against the top athletes yet or do anything to really make us money."

9.5 add 9.5...19.0

In order to run a 20.0 the guy would have to be able to run around 10.0 for 100m. Anyone here have any idea what a 10.0 is in sprinting? Obviously the liar who started all this has no clue.

Theolonius "Pooptrain" Bird, was a great HS sprinter at Baker HS in Jacksonville Florida in the mid 70's. He twice tied the HS 200m record and four times won the Florida State meet. He still holds school and county records.

After HS he went west to CPSLO, there he got in with the wrong crowd. And his sprinting potential was never realized. The last we heard of "Pooptrain" he was pimping somewhere in west Texas.
