Plan A:

Spurs gets Kyrie
Suns gets LMA
Cavs gets Bledsoe

Plan B:

Cavs gets Cousins and Rando
Pelicans gets Kyrie

Draft picks, additional role players like Danny Green, bad contracts (like TT or JR) can be added to balance out the offer a bit more to make teams agree, but intention is to create as many pretenders in the west as possible to wear out Curry/Durant, both have durability issues and even this past season, Durant out for the season, Cavs two-peat was basically a coin flip. The problem was this season, thanks to Durant leaving Thunder, Warriors never faced any real competition. Spurs even if fully healthy would have lost in 5-6 games at most, the talent gap is too big.

Next season is different. Harden/Paul/Melo, Westbrook/George, add Leonard/Irving or Davis/Irving to the mix and all three teams have an axe to grind against Warriors/Durant for extra physical play, maybe a round 1 opponent like Wolves or Lakers with raw athleticism, and hopefully Warriors get 2016 Curry type of injuries at the very least. For Cavs, Celtic being a notch above last season is a good thing, it will allow Cavs to get into the zone a little earlier, but still ultimately steamroll the midget. Celtics will never win a championship with Thomas as its best player. During the season, Cavs can make more trades to give themselves a David Blatt 2015 finals style physical defense, they still have a chance.

If all fails, there is always the Lakers super team down the road. Against the most stacked talent in NBA history, there is no sure recipe.

And yes for Spurs, everyone except Kwahi should be thrown into the mix to get Irving! Fix the front court problems later if we have to give away LMA. If Pop can get The Beautiful Game out of Parker, he can make Irving a great facilitator. The reason The Beautiful Game is no longer played (and a lot of Danny Green's struggles) is because of Parker/Manu's decline. While Irving alone will not win a championship over the Warriors, his age makes him the perfect companion to Kwahi, get him and a third star is within reach. Warriors will most likely take a step backward in 2019 with Thompson/Green contracts up and disease of more. Kwahi and Irving will be 27/26, LeBron will be 35, and the window is wide open.
