Update: Stackhouse will sit out the next two preseason games versus the Knicks Sunday and Tuesday at Detroit with a sore right knee, the Fort Worth Star-Telgram reports.
Recommendation: The Mavericks are just being cautious with Stackhouse in the preseason so there's no need to worry about him injury-wise for the regular season. Head coach Avery Johnson said that if this were the regular season, he would be playing. "It's nothing serious," coach Avery Johnson said. "He's fine. He just had a little swelling."
