2017 Fantasy Football advice

So the Zeke thing messes me up a little. I've got the 6th pick in PPR. Have Devonta Freeman as a keeper.

Was hoping to be able to grab a big three receiver or Elliott at the worst. Now I'm probably looking at AJ Green or Mike Evans. But thinking about grabbing another RB and hoping that it starts an RB run and a couple of good receivers will drop to me at the 19 and 30.

Free agents are on an auction basis.

Even if Zeke got picked up early, I was considering taking Evans or Green ahead of ODB. Green is consistent as hell and Evans looks like he could be the WR1.

But he might not be there at 6. Jordy and Baldwin are gone as keepers so I'm thinking WR will be targeted. So I might have to make a decision of Green vs McCoy. I'd be nervous about both.

Jordy is too old. Evans will be the #1 WR but the Buccaneers have a ton of targets these days plus Winston is mobile. Jackson, Howard, Brate, Humphries and that rookie WR... plus the running backs... a lot of mouths to feed.

I doubt you'll be flexing Marty B that much, something tells me Graham will have another subpar year, and you'll be starting bennet. Not a fan of your defense, not a fan of you havong both Brady and Cam but it might work out.

Yeah...I like my team. Freeman was my keeper for the last two years and only had to pass my pick up in the 5th round. And was picking from the 6 spot.

I'm kicking myself though. I thought our league rules only allowed keepers in rounds 4 and above. I took Montgomery over Zeke in the 3rd. Then found out later that it's keepers in rounds 3 and above so I could have kept Zeke for next year for a 2nd round pick. Oh well.

Actually, Thompson ended up having a good fantasy outing, even with the fumble. In my league he scored 21.5 compared to McKinnon's 26.2...it should end up being a negligible differential for you.

That being said, Thompson should have a decent game vs. Dallas. At least in the short passing game.

dallas backfield is a crapshoot and its hard to trust anybody there until it plays out. yeah mcfadden's a pass catcher but outside a couple of designed screens a game, thats not really a part of the cowboys offense. the panthers specifically said they traded benjamin to create spacing for their run game, so they're at least pretending to cater to stewart there

When in doubt, never ever choose a New England running back. Burkhead might play 5 snaps next week, or he might get 15 touches. Same goes for White or Lewis or Gillislee.

ive got mckinnon/thompson/crowell (and zeke). i might pick up murray, but moreso as a handcuff. im still confident mckinnon will be better going forward, but murray is in line for a monster workload if mckinnon goes down. i have the #6 waiver priority right now but i'm not spending it this week.

also considering picking up martellus bennett. gronk is the only TE worth handcuffing given his history :lol

I think I'd sit Green as well. Landry and Theilen have great matchups. And Thomas has been one of the most consistent WR this season. With the Bengals team situation, there's a decent case to be made for sitting Green. I guess it depends on the rest of your lineup to some degree and who you're playing.

I suppose if the Vikings dominate the Packers, you could see Bridgewater get some snaps.

Bortles has an incredible Title Game matchup. But Foles has won before and has lots of weapons.

My conundrum is: Dion Lewis vs awful Bills Rush Defense on a depleted Patriots Offense, or Boom/Bust Jordan Howard vs awful Browns Defense, especially Inside Rush, which Howard is best at.

I’m in a unique Title situation. It was a 20-team league and we are having a 4-team, Battle Royale-style, Most-Points-Takes-It Title round today. I’ve been the best player in the League and have scored the most points 4/15 weeks and have finished 2nd in weekly scoring another 3x, scoring second most points in the League overall.

This league has milestone bonuses, so 100+ yards rushing, 5+ points. 2+ TDs, 5 points. 200+ yards, 10 points. 50+ yard TD play, +5 points.

Howard has been an awful weekly play, but the weeks I’ve been tops, have been because he had huge games.

Lewis is projected for 1 more point, and has been the more consistent 15-22 style play. But I’ll need upside as much as anything. I think I’m staying with Howard. But you all feel free to talk me out of it.

Ultimately I say Funchess and played both. Smart decision. But competition has Goff/Powell/Bell/Hopkins, and those first two have like 80 points right now, so, I’m probably losing anyways.
