Thought I'd make a Redskin thread since there is always one when the Redskins are winning and none when they are losing.

Brunell needs to retire? He had 331 passing yards 3 touchdowns with no interceptions...

Those are Stud numbers.

hey, THANKS for thinking of us Duff!

no worries, we got your Niners on the schedule next. :tu

must be nice to have multiple teams to root for...flip flop, flip flop. :lol

the REDSKINS are doing fine.

sure, Brunell can't hold onto the damn ball.

but i'm still expecting 8-8 give or take a game.

playoffs are a dream.

but losing two close games to two good teams is nothing to be ashamed of.

Go Skins Go! The team that does it's talking ON THE FIELD.

As a Broncos fan, I need the Skins to lose every game they have left. We have their first round pick, and I'm hoping to get Reggie Bush. How scary would Reggie Bush be running behind that Broncos line.

Lot of football to be played yet and I do respect the hell out of Gibbs. I am just surprised that Portis didn't have a better game....historically he has played really well against the Chiefs.

Hell yeah Redskins lose, and cowboys are now The number 1 Team in the NFC East

He was running behind the Broncs line during those Chefs games. Quinten Fucking Griffing ran for a buck fifty against the Chefs last year.

Very true. He continues to prove the whole "its the system" theory.

They out played both Denver and KC by a mile.

They lost two close games on the road to two playoff teams..there is no shame in that.

Washington will win next week at home, then beat the Giants the following week.

Bank on it.

Yes they did. I am no believer in moral victories but I was impressed at their poise...that is a direct result of Joe Gibbs.

Dont start crying Nick...the cowboys are good...just face it, they have an offense that can actually score and a defense that shuts down now.....all i have to say about yesterdays game is that Anthony Henry should have been the player of the game, he intercepted the ball like twice, cause a fumble, and deflected many passes.....Greg ellis just picked up a fumble recovery and he got player of the game??? i dont get it?

Oh yes you can

You can out play a team but not outscore them. It happens all the time in sports.

If you give up an 80 yd TD on a fumble, when you are getting ready to kick a FG at worse, make a TD at best, to extend your lead, after you drove down field again and again on the opponent's defense, then you are out playing them....but you make a mistake that cost you the game.

The Redskins would beat KC 8 out of 10 times on a neutral field, because they won the battle in the trenchs all day long.

But, if you do not outscore them, you are a loser....they were losers yesterday....but they give me cause for hope with their play this year...mucg more so than years past.

About the Redskins.

They did kick the Broncos all over the field. That offense they run is freaking crazy. Impossible to get much pressure on Brunnell with a basic pass rush. That means you have to send the house, and leave Santana Moss single covered. He has proven that he'll burn most any cornerback (if Champ had played the game wouldn't have been near as close though).

Pretty neat to see Gibbs airing it out as much as he has. I guess old dogs can learn a few new tricks. But they will only go as far as Clinton can carry them. They better start feeding him the rock, because Brunell's deal with the devil is gonna run out sooner rather than later.

Screw Lavar Arrington. How hilarious is it to see that defense thrive without his non disciplined playing ass. Greg Williams is the best defenisve coordinator in the NFL by a large margin.

Unless it is to replace The Tuna, Greg Williams is not going anywhere. He'll be a head coach again, real soon.

show me where the media was singing the Redskins praises and i'll agree with you.

until then? a teams record says all you need to know about them.

would Dallas be as good with Mark Brunell as there QB?

would the Skins be even better with Bledsoe?

chew on that and SEE who the better team is and which is overcoming the greater odds.

and remember, the Tuna has one foot out the door already.

Joe is committed to 5 years, barring a premature Superbowl Victory. :tu

not at all brother...

the man is a miracle worker on D.

rookie cb.

lavar on the sidelines.

a hardworking lunchpail Dline w/o superstars.

ONE other NAME linebacker, Marcus Washington,

and of course, keepnig Sean Taylor in line...

not to mention working with a ball control offense that STILL finds a way to turn the ball over...i'm shocked i'm actually rooting for Brunell, but every turnover makes me remember why i don't trust him.

I'd trade Lavar and Ramsey Right now for a #1 and a chance to snatch Leinart next April. :tu

With the money lavar makes (not to mention his lack of production) the skins would be lucky to get a 5th rdr, let alone a #1.

I'm not crying, just like in '03 they are playing better then they are, ok so they beat the a beat up Eagles team at home and the Giants who have no defense outside of Osi and Gaptooth, the Pies are better sure, I think the skins are better then they are now, even the Giants are better, Giants just had really bad coaching, in the end I'm not worried about it, Eagles will regroup, pies might make the playoffs but I doubt they will do anything major, Drew will revert to his old form sooner or later.

you are right. 14-13.

I know I'm right. There is no such thing as outplaying another team and losing the game. It's obvious that you didn't outplay them because you lost.

Jim, even with a fumble that means you got outplayed, because it means they took care of the ball and you didn't. Outplayed. Period.

Greg Williams is the best defenisve coordinator in the NFL by a large margin.

I'd take Marvin Lewis over Greg Williams anyday of the week, even though Lewis is a head coach, he's ten times a defensive coordinator than Williams, shit I'll even take Romeo Crennel.
