Found this while browsing YouTube. If you watch the entire thing, you will catch a few clips of Slow Mo in a pick up game with LeBron, KD, Melo and maybe some more superstars. I wonder if any of them are mentoring him or if he's picking up any jewels from them?

You're welcome. I'm trying to find out how to add the clip in the post itself. Anyway, Kawhi brought me there lol

"N*gga stop turning the ball over. I'm not rewarding that. I'm not rewarding negative behavior.. turning the ball over. Fuck you mean?"

I want kyrie even even more now tbh.

I agree. His leadership skills are probably overshadowed by LeBron's presence.

I saw those clips during a sermon at the church of Kyle Anderson a few days ago

Hopefully he's learning that he needs to do himself a favor and work harder on his body unless he wants to be like Melo

I missed it among all the trolling going on in that church... occasionally I stop by to post a link but after 20 hate mail posts one just skims through at times.

Kawhi was working out by himself. :tu
One has to respect him doubly for doing his thing without fanfare.

I haven't warmed up to Dijounte's style of publishing every workout and star collaborator yet.

Balling? More like grabbing rebounds and handing the ball to the good players

Lots of people have made a good, useful, career of that in the NBA...

I saw two clips of him scoring fwiw. Pretty good against elite talent.

Kind of like a pitcher with a great change-up.

Difference being, don't think Kyle has a fastball.

Nice vids. Thanks!

I try to stay optimistic about Kyle's game. Without Simmons, while Gay's is getting back into shape and get rhythm backs, Kyle will play ton of minutes. Good passing, rebouding, defense, are things Spurs'll need...He can provide it.

He is decent during the RS. Gonna have to give him almost zero meaningful PO minutes.

Video made me wonder if this is the year Lebron is going to officially be past his prime.

Not slowing expectations but having a decent regular season could be a true goal with this current roster and a bunch of rooks and sophomores.

Good passing, rebounding, defense and...driving to the hoop.

I know it's harder against better teams but Kyle needs to work at attacking the rim more. Sure, he's slow but he's a talented tall driver, not many teams have one.

The problem with Kyle is that he's most effective at the 3 or 4, just like Kawhi and Gay. Aldridge will also get some minutes at the 4.

Kyle has played the 2 on rare occasions and Aldridge will spend a good amount of time at the 5, but overall the team is stacked with forwards and thin at guard and center.

Guys, do you think he is getting better?

He has to change his attitude and be more aggressive. That is the the main area where he has to become better.

If he can hit the 3 and of course take it without hesitation it will have a huge impact on the Spurs season.

I thought his defense was the worst thing in his game. Guys blowing past him all the time.

They have 8 guards. Classic case of conflating quality with quantity.

Anderson is going to be the 9th man and his defensive rebounding will now be more necessity than luxury. Playing exclusively small off the bench should make his lack of shooting less of an issue.

Agreed! So many times I've seen him stand flat footed and try to poke the ball from behind when a guy goes by him. Moving his feet and trying to stay in front of his guy isn't his first option it seems, sadly.

20 man training camp roster, 4 squads
8 guards
8 forwards
4 centers
with some combos in the mix.

His herky jerky slo motion offensive moves throw off the rhythm of the defenders since they are so used to players that really move with the ball. It's like making them play defense using Tai Chi. I bet they hate it sometimes cause players and fans say "MF, why can't you stop that?. He takes all day to move across the lane."

On defense, unfortunately, its a different story since they get to call the tune and can motor past him with ease.

He's a "finesse" player, with "intangibles" and lots of "projected upside"...
