Isaiah Thomas (http://www.espn.com/nba/player/_/id/6472/isaiah-thomas), Jae Crowder (http://www.espn.com/nba/player/_/id/6581/jae-crowder), Ante Zizic (http://www.espn.com/nba/player/_/id/4017838/ante-zizic) and the Brooklyn Nets' 2018 unprotected first-round pick to the Cleveland Cavaliers (http://www.espn.com/nba/team/_/name/cle/cleveland-cavaliers) in exchange for Kyrie Irving (http://www.espn.com/nba/player/_/id/6442/kyrie-irving).

Never imagined Cleveland might actually get the better of a trade for Kyrie. The trade was fair w/o that Nets unprotected first rounder. Well, at least a C's/Cavs playoffs matchup might end up being watchable next year, unlike this past postseason.

Hayward/Irving/Tatum. Solid trio. Brad Stevens not having to coach just scrubs any more.

Damn, that is a damn good trade for the Cavs.

It's probably as good as they could have gotten, but I think they should have held out for Jaylen Brown to be included. Cavs got a midget scorer who offers less defense than Kyrie, a decent starter, and a throw-in. Cavs are really depending on that draft pick to make it a good trade for them. What if that pick is say #7 or #8 instead of a top 3? Maybe the best return they could have gotten, but I'd have required just a little more.

agreed if tatum was untouchable Brown might have been possible ...

It's the Nets. So, top 6 is practically guaranteed; and they have a great shot at 1-4. Also, the Cavs get probably the best defender for Durant possible. Lebron can relax and guard Donkey or someone.

Most drafts, the #6 pick is significantly different from a top 3 pick in terms of talent. Anything outside the top 2 is usually quite a step down in talent. That's why getting a young high potential talent like Jaylen Brown would have been something I would have pushed for. And with the Celtics adding Hayward and Tatum this summer, I do think Boston could have been pushed to include Brown.

Shit. Now they'll be yammerin' fresh here again.

They'd all rolled over and were pleased as punch he wasn't coming when he wasn't coming. Now that it's a possibility again they'll roll back over...

- "I've had some time to ponder this acquisition anew. And I really believe it's for the best...provided that Jackson is not included in the trade, of course. I hate like the dickens to give up a fine man like Bledsoe, because he's been nothing but a dream since he came over from the Clippers. But, if it means we can get a one of a kind player like Kyrie then I have to go with that trade, albeit I'll miss the fine man that Bledsoe has become since he came here to Phoenix. *Plus, once Bledsoe hits free agency we can sign him again and bring him back to the desert where he really found a home and loved being here as we loved having him here."

- Phoenix Media en mass

* denotes Phoenix sports teams via Phoenix Media ALWAYS includes that promissory note about reacquiring traded player once they hit free agency. That way they cover their ass completely.

I hate hypocrites. And he's a chickenshit because he couldn't respond to me and he just acted like he's pissed off and started ignoring me like he's a chickenshit.
