honestly happy Floyd won. I've done a lot of betting, but not yet on boxing (not for a high profile fight, anyways). Retrospectively, I can see how the smart money was on LLoyd. I know a few gamblers who probably banked on this fight even with the bad odds; definitely easy money. Wish I had been able to make it out to Vegas; I think my head would have beat my heart, and I would have made some $ on this. But I wasn't prepared to bet a whole lot, so just as well.

He did look old and slow. This should had been over in 5 tops. The fact McGregor was able to almost take it the distance tells you something about Floyd and his current skill set.

Mayweather doesn't have power. As long as he wasn't fighting a total novice who just walked into power punches he wasn't going to knock out anyone in the last decade and before that I wasn't aware enough of the guy to care... He's been a points boxer who got wins by being defensive and scoring a bunch of tap jabs.

He did look slower but not so much so that I would write him out of possibly taking another match if it looked like big money and he was reasonably sure of winning.
