supposedly the writer of previous HL games released the plot of what would have been Episode 3 (and also the plot of Valve).
surprised this hasn't been mentioned here yet. Sad, HL deserved to go out better than this

Also spawned Counterstrike one of the best online FPS ever created until the hackers ruined it. Didn't take long...I can't watch the current CS:GO tournaments because it makes me sick to my stomach knowing that these guys cheat and get away with it in a competitive tournament. Like Vander said, fuck gaben. HL1 and HL2 will forever be the pioneers along with Wolfenstein,Doom,Quake,etc...
