All who know him and those who lived in his house like Diaw, all are saying the same, he is pro and always worked hard in particular after an injury... his contract has little to do with that, Parker is just obsessed by the challenge of completing 20 years with Spurs this is what is driving him... a couple more MUSD in his contract won't change anything.

Somehow Tony was so slick in the paint he missed getting an enormous number of foul calls. I'm not saying he actually got fouled and a no-call as much as his moves were so slick he just didn't get hit as much as most guards scoring down among the bigs. Always got those angles to make clean shots.

When you think about it, Thanksgiving would be the earliest date on the 6-8 month estimate that came out when he was diagnosed. It's not impossible that he's meeting those optimistic standards. However, that projection was to heal from the injury/surgery. Even if Parker is healthy come November, I don't think Pop would play him for a while unless the team is really struggling from poor guard play.
