Scandanavians pay higher taxes than Canada, and get a lot back for it.

Europeans in general pay more taxes, and get higher economic/social mobility than money-class sclerotic USA, born poor, die poor, born rich, die rich.

This is interesting. Physician's group pushing for universal coverage (ostensibly single-payor, I guess). The article points out that our government ALREADY pays more per capita than any other for healthcare, and yet we don't cover everyone (not even remotely close).
