-I honestly don't know what you're referring to in the first sentence.
-maybe not Ricky Martin, but there was plenty of other embarrassing shit on that list iirc. and just for the record I don't look at you as a lesser person after this revelation.

The other 65 million people are mostly comprised of simple folks voting for their party's candidate--despite how much they detest her--because Trump was the alternative. Likewise, I'm embarrassed at what my party had to offer as well, but I still voted b/c at the time I was a DOS employee working overseas in an unstable country--and the thought of Hillary being our CiC was legitimately terrifying after her massacre at Benghazi. Besides, when working overseas you ALWAYS want red team in office: better pay, better security, higher military presence, and occasionally turning a blind eye to rules of engagement, etc). Getting back to your generalization, I believe most Americans realized that they offered up the worst pair of presidential candidates in American history. You, OTOH posted like you thought Hillary was the greatest thing since sliced bread. The majority of Americans who voted did so not out of respect for their candidate, but out of fear that the other would be elected

Probably because I was oh I dont know like 17 or 18 at the time those albums came out. I will admit over time, those one hit wonders didn't age well but oh well. I'm not afraid to say I liked shitty music then and even now.
I was for Hillary only because she was the only viable candidate running on either party in my personal view. I never identified with Bernie because his ideas were too far fetch and out of reach despite him having strong appeal within my age group. He really is for millenials and wants to do right by us but I'm a realistic so I went the other way.
I dont get into the heavy politics about her being an evil bitch or whatever. That's just noise but you're entitled to your opinion. I expect nothing less for a right winger (Not saying you're a heavy right winger) when they bring up the Benghazi shit. That stuff has beein litigated for years with no wrongdoing on either part (Obama or Hillary) so you keep on dragging the party talking points.

"Neither of us should have been suspended. But I enjoyed how brilliantly Jemele checkmated her bosses. She knew ESPN couldn’t punish her for speaking candidly, as a black woman, about a president whose pattern of behavior toward women and minorities speaks for itself. She used her platform and it worked. Now, she has a higher profile than she did three days ago. She seems more fearless and genuine than she did three days ago. She doubled down on a fan base that already liked her and openly shunned the other side. Why do you think it worked?
I think the current political environment of absurd extreme behavior makes this possible. It's the same type of behavior that brings boots to claim that police need a push back perpetrated by serial cop killers. People are not scrutinized using the same set of rules when extremes are the norm.

It exposed ESPN and made them look weak (like they are). Any "power" she has is fleeting. The real power she has is from a symbiotic relationship with the mothership. She will be fired if she continues on this course. Someone like NBC will pick her up; but it may or may not end up being a good fit.

Here's the reality. Were Limbaugh's comments even that bad despite you categorizing them as racist? No. Look at the fact, D. McNabb had a 79.6 QB rating in the year Rush made the comments, and his previous first four years in the league, his rating never rose about 86.0. There was a basis for the comments.
The problem is that the comments were overtly political and polarizing along racial lines (which is not proper for an all-inclusive sports network). For that reason, Rush deserved his termination. The same thing is occurring with Jemele, and liberals are predictably trying to have their usual double standard.

It's relevant, bro. If Hillary was in office, no ESPN reporter would be allowed to be calling Hillary a white supremacist. Rush gave a valid comment that reflected poorly on the network. Jemele gave an invalid comment that reflected poorly on the network. One got fired; the other, well nothing.
There was nothing valid about Rush's comment on McNabb. It was a pretty poor opinion in general. The liberal media wasn't propping up McNabb just because he was black. He happened to be a very good QB.

Statistically, he was sh** or akin to it for the first five seasons. Rush called him out in the fifth season. He happened to be a "very good QB" after the fact; and not by the time he was signed by Vikings btw; he was f*cking cancer by then.

SMH. McNabb started out playing in an era from 2000-2003 before the rule changes benefitted the passing game. In 2001, he was 7th in passer rating right behind Brady, in 2002, he was 7th right behind Peyton. Plus he made a ton of plays with his feet and won a lot of games for the Eagles up to that point. So Rush was full of shit at the time.

QB Ratings
1999 - DM 60.8; Warner 109.2; Differential 48.4
2000 - DM 77.8; Griese 102.9; Differential 25.1
2001 - DM 84.3; Warner 101.4; Differential 17.1

It was a joke that went over your head (which isn't hard to do). In her first book, your boy Hillary, who was born in 1948, claimed she was named for Sir Edmund Hillary, who was among the first climbers to climb Mt. Everest. Just one problem, Edmund hadn't climbed the mountain until 1953.
:lmao
So your research into Presidential candidate name origins includes fake news. Surprise level: 0.
I mean it's one thing to not know, it's another thing completely to actively seek out and be duped by false info.

It's funny how you're ever so willing to take the lies of your fellow lemmings:
In April 1995, she was on a goodwill tour of Asia and stopped in Nepal, the country that’s home of Mount Everest, which was first climbed in 1953 by Sir Edmund Hillary of New Zealand and Tenzing Norgay of Nepal.
"At an airstrip in Katmandu, Nepal — just after an overnight tiger safari and just before her departure for this poverty-ridden pocket of South Asia — Mrs. Clinton shook hands with" the famous climber, then 75, the New York Times reported.
During the brief meeting, Clinton "confessed that her mother, Dorothy Rodham, had read an article about the intrepid Edmund Hillary, a one-time beekeeper who had taken to mountain climbing, when she was pregnant with her daughter in 1947 and liked the name," the Times wrote. " ‘It had two l's, which is how she thought she was supposed to spell Hillary,’ Mrs. Clinton told reporters after the brief meeting on the tarmac, minutes before her Air Force jet flew past the peak of Everest itself. ‘So when I was born, she called me Hillary, and she always told me it's because of Sir Edmund Hillary.’ "

Here's what your Politifact link says:
At an airstrip in Katmandu, Nepal — just after an overnight tiger safari and just before her departure for this poverty-ridden pocket of South Asia — Mrs. Clinton shook hands with the famous climber, then 75, the New York Times reported.
For years, this story wasn’t widely discussed — it wasn’t mentioned in Hillary Clinton’s 2003 autobiography, Living History, for instance — but it did make its way into the autobiography of her husband, former President Bill Clinton, which was published in 2004.
So you've gone from "Hillary, in an anecdote, said her mom told her she was named for Edmund Hillary" to "Hillary lied about the origin of her name in her first book."
What an outrage!
BTW, this lie is not any big obscure secret. Listen to the entire vid I just posted if you give even half a fuck.
I gave just enough of a fuck to skim the Politifact article. I've concluded that this is exactly the kind of laughable nothingburger that only the most hyperbolic Clinton haters would think is an important story. Which means it's probably all over the fake news web in all sorts of different versions (like how she included it in her first book), which is why you think it's common knowledge.
You care more about this story than you care about Donald Trump being sued by the Federal Government for racial housing discrimination. :lol

It's a something burger. Common knowledge, dude.
And somebody on a video had said it was in her first book. It doesn't matter exactly where it was said. That article and the video I posted clearly document that it was said as well as much of the aftermath. If you're going to dismiss that as a nothing burger, then there's nothing you won't dismiss, which makes you a joke basically.

Eventually, in October 2006, a Clinton spokeswoman walked the story back.
"It was a sweet family story her mother shared to inspire greatness in her daughter, to great results I might add,'' said spokeswoman Jennifer Hanley, according to the New York Times.
When the urban-legends checking site Snopes.com looked at the controversy (http://www.snopes.com/politics/clintons/hillary.asp), it noted that it actually wasn’t impossible that Clinton’s mother could have heard about Hillary by the time her daughter was born. It noted that he was already gaining some renown as a mountain climber prior to 1953, and even as early as the pre-World War II period.
Still, when Snopes scrutinized several major American newspapers, including the Rodhams’ hometown Chicago Tribune, prior to 1953, it couldn’t find any evidence that the mountain climber had been profiled. This suggests that he was still too obscure a figure to have attracted Dorothy Rodham’s attention.
It was "almost certainly a bit of fiction invented for political expediency," Snopes concluded.
