Tom Petty has reportedly been hospitalized and is in critical condition after being found unconscious in his home in Malibu, where he allegedly suffered full cardiac arrest, as TMZ reports. He was hospitalized Sunday; his exact status is unknown. According to TMZ, Petty was placed on life support after arriving at the hospital. The singer-songwriter recently wrapped up a run of tour dates with his band the Heartbreakers in late September, and is scheduled to perform shows in New York City in October. Pitchfork has reached out to reps for Petty for more information.
