Was at the game last night and here are some thoughts..

Murray was strictly looking to get others involved and tbh didn't seem comfortable doing so. He must develop some of type of in between game to take his game to next level..His defense was great though!! Got a block on a Fox 3 and steal/AND 1.

Green looked like that LDN that so many love. He looked extremely confident on both ends..and turned things around for the team with his play..only negative about him is watching him execute "dribble hand offs"

Gay looked like someone getting his feet wet. Imo for him to have early success..he's gotta develop a consistent 3ball and not hesitate to take it. Nice drive and dunk along baseline...worried about his defense/activity.

Pau is a disaster on defense and is always pointing fingers/sulking. Still think Spurs under utilize him offensively especially with the lack of dribble penetration on this team...

LMA fell back to his old self and was clearly better Game 1. But to his defense Spurs did a horrible job getting him set or looks in his sweet spots.

Patty let if fly without hesitation...as we know when he gets hot Spurs offense goes to another level. Really torn on if Spurs should make start or not tbh.

Jeffery is going to be a nice pick up. More offensively skilled than Lee and can shoot from 18-20. Works hard on the boards but his defense will be something to monitor..

Overall Spurs are going to need Parker big time this season..Spurs lack dribble penetration with Simmons gone and Manu on his last leg. It's a pain watching Spurs run dribble hand offs with nobody able to penetrate..Murray obviously needs to be that guy but I just don't trust the kid. Gonna be another year of heavy ISO ball sourrnded by shooters.

Hope Kawhi is ok..

Hope Kawhi worked on his playmaking/setting up teamates game. Parker will be welcomed with warm open arms. Manu is our best and maybe only real playmaker. Kawhi will probably need to be something of a point forward as well as a big time scorer. Basically Kawhi needs to be on the Harden Westbrook LeBron level. Guys who can get you 30 as well as 8,9 and 10 assist in any given game. What I've seen in the 2 preseason games, is this team is full of really good role players/ supporting cast. And Kawhi is that 1 Superstar player you need. But he may need to be that point forward, at least 'till Parker's back.

This is why they drafted murray and anderson. But they both suck, murray more than kyle.

Disagree w the pau offense, dude AIRBALLED layups .... multiple last year.

Preseason defensive intensity is usually just a notch above all-star game defense.
