Agree. It can be over in the blink of an eye. Stars may even get chances at come backs, look at Rudy Gay.... guys who are roleplayers like Mario Chalmers have to try out in training camps basically for free and make a team from scratch. Got to get paid as soon as possible... Also, can't ask young players to give discounts. They are out to make as much as they possibly can b4 it's over.

Sucks for Hayward. Looks really really bad. Could be that it's shattered and he'll never be quite the same again.

But Celtics will be fine if Tatum and Brown develop. Plus they still have the Nets pick (but not the other great first). For this year though, this is where the Kyrie trade / other roster moves really hurt given the depth they lost.

Anderson Silva's shin snapped in half when his kick was blocked by his opponent's knee. Theisman's shin snapped in half when he was sacked by Lawrence Taylor in 1986. It happened on Monday Night Football and was a compound fracture where the bone breaks the skin. You could see blood on his sock.

Just watched it. It wasn't nearly as bad to watch as it was made out to be, IMO. I was a kid when watching the Theismann game. That was harsh.

I'm in the "it could be a clean break with no ligament damage" camp. When I was a teen I saw an ankle snap on a trampoline. Ankle made a full U turn. Brutal to witness first hand, everyone freaked out. The poor girl totally lost it. She was fine, typical cast and healing time. Granted she wasn't a world class athlete...just saying.

Celts are saying it's a clean break, no ligament or nerve damage. So he should be able to recover from it...guess time will tell.

Suddenly Kawhi's quad injury doesn't seem quite as bad, and we don't even know what the hell is going on with it.
