Who is Patrick Beverley? He played all last year and nobody said nothing about him. Now we are looking at your first game. Why? Because Lonzo's name is attached to it.
"So you got to be [all hard]," Ball added as he slapped his fists together. "Let's see what you do the next five games, if you are going to be pumped up towards everybody like that and go back to your 0-for-5 shooting and your two or three rebounds. Nobody is going to care about you. But you put my son's name in it and you put my name in it, now you got some action and you got some people talking."

This, bu I also think he need a midrange game too (look at Demarr DeRozen - he can't shoot 3s yet he is elite SG, for example). Due to Lonzo's height, I think a midrange game is just as important. He towers over most PGs. Being able to score from midrange would be huge for him IMO.

personally I find it annoying when all they talk about is lonzo. forget +/- I thought randle and ingram deserved a lot more credit last night for stepping up on both ends of the floor.
only thing that impress me about lonzo though is his locker room presence. the players seem to rally behind him, evidently as they were extra pumped last night. genuine camaraderie almost never happened when kobe was here and when d-snitch was the face of the franchise. lonzo's teammates really seem to at least like him, so far...
