with the way Bama is playing, it looks like this is going to be like the college football equivalent of Golden State last year.

14 points is insurmountable for Michigan's offense.

I know you're wishing for a blowout or two. But, a win is a win. I can't prove it....but the cliche might come true. There is something to take away from winning a bunch of close games. Seen it a 1000x. A team who blows everybody out all year shits the bed when they get in their first close game.
Man I'm rooting for the U. Always been a closet Hurricanes fan...just been a while since I've had something to pull for. Really hoping they can win the ACC and get a playoff spot.

That kid is legit.
You guys can't stop the run though. Not just him....It seems like every RB has a career day against the Rebs.

If Notre Dame wins out, they may steal a playoff spot. Only loss is a one point home loss to a powerhouse Georgia team.

This team couldn't even handle Vanderbilt's 124th rank rushing offense. I can only imagine what Mississippi State (14th), Texas A&M (29th), and Arkansas (68th) would do to this team on the ground. Mississippi State might do the same thing they did last year to this team.

How stupid would it be top have a 4 team playoff with two SEC teams plus the Irish.
Leaving out 3 power 5 conferences would be awesome

Depends on which power 5 teams are left out. The PAC 12 has no real contender this year. It's really a joke of a conference. The Big 12 still has TCU (if undefeated) and OU with legitimate chances. However if either of these two teams loses, than that will open up the door. If Georgia goes undefeated in the regular season including road wins at Notre Dame and Georgia Tech and lose a close game against an undefeated Bama team, it will be hard to keep them out unless an undefeated Big 12 team or OU and undefeated Miami make it. Don't see no shot for the PAC-12.

Gonna make dem cries for an extended playoff even louder. At least 8 teams.
