Which state is in the worst shape for their college football programs

Florida will get a new coach and buy a bunch of players, Miami is looking decent again, and Florida St. only looks horrible because their QB got hurt. Seminoles got talent.

Toss up between Texas and Cal IMO. I'd prob lean toward Cal though.

Texas includes

OU and Ok St.

So not as bad as it seems.

Texas hands down. The standard for this state is TCU. A school with a 40K seat stadium. As bad as Florida has been at lease Miami has been good. California has USC and Stanford who both are not up to their standard but at lease they are both still very good.

By the end of this season both Texas and A&M will be 6-6 to 7-5 teams. in fact the only team worth a crap is TCU.

pretty sad.

And TCU actually does something with the talent.

ATM was mediocre in the Big 12 and same in the SEC. But now they can root for a conference as a feel good. As long as Saban is alive, SEC fans are fine. Can't wait for BIG to start Urban Meyer chants. I'm sure Harbaugh and Michigan will love that.

Thing is, if aggy stays, all things being equal with Johnny football, they easily win the big 12 maybe twice already and be in the playoffs

Without the dindus from south Florida every team would be D3 quality.

For this season California is by far the worst, UF has looked decent, but all the other Florida programs took a hit, Texas however has a rejuvinated UT and the Aggsy are moving in the right direction. I'd ranked these states like this from best to worst

1. Texas
2. Florida
3. California

to be honest, they're all pretty bad so i'd say it's just splitting hairs at this point.

Cal, Stanford, USC, UCLA are all down. While Fresno State and San Diego State are looking good who cares?

They is no doubt from an historical perspective Cali has done more in college football than any other state, but this is about the right now.

How Tom Brady escaped the west coast?

Does any state have more JC''s? There are over the place.
