$3 tickets available in Phoenix? Holy shit.

I know the tanking Suns are bad, but you can't even get tickets to a matinee showing of a 3-month old movie for that price.

Really think Miami makes a game of this. They got some really good guard defenders. Is Whiteside playing? He typically dominates Draymond and they have some beef.

-Heat announcers are very good
-Eric Spo is one of the best coaches in the game
-Heat do a good job of finding players for their system... the defense these guys play is top notch. Never seen the Warriors players get blocked so much
-They just need a true star, otherwise they'll just be a middling team.

i said same about Spo back in Heatles days when everyone was sucking off Pacers overrated coach (forget his name)... and making it seemed LeBron was carrying a scrub coach ...now LeBron is carrying a scrub coach ...but Spo is legit ...he was just inexperienced. he just a notch below Pop, Rc and Stevens ...

I think he's up there with them. He's got a misfit group that are tough to beat. Last night they cheddar bob'd themselves but holding Warriors under a 100 is no easy feat. Feel bad they are stuck with Whiteside. He's got a worse attitude than Cousins. He probably just an asset to them.

"The difference in this game was turnovers. There's no way you can give the best team in the world that many extra possessions. This was a defensive struggle in the 1st quarter, and it wasn't until our boys started getting careless with the ball that GS began to get out in transition and get easy buckets. The Warriors offense struggled most of the night when they were forced to play in the half court against our defense. As a matter of fact, Durant, Curry, and Thompson went a combined 15 of 47 from the field (6 of 23 from 3). Call it an off night if you like, and maybe that's part of it, but I give our defense credit for making things difficult for them early.
Defense creates offense. It's going to be hard to convince me otherwise. But the object of the game is still to score more points than your opponent.
It's clear that aside from the pin down screens we run for Wayne Ellington, and the back door cuts that have resulted in more TOs than points, that not much time is spent on half court sets. At least that's how it appears to me. There should be more pick and roll ran with guys who can shoot the ball if a defender goes under the screen. Dragic and Whiteside should run the pick and roll anytime the offense bogs down, over and over until they get either Dragic into the paint, Hassan on a lob or other favorable opportunity, or a shot for a spot up shooter. Too often I see the offense pass the ball around the perimeter 2 or 3 times, then either make a bad pass or take a bad shot.
The other part of the problem on offense is that the wrong players have the ball in their hands too often in my opinion. KO and JRich are both competent enough as passers to know how to make the extra pass, or execute a drive and kick, but having them straight up initiate the offense is a mistake if you ask me. That role should be relegated to Goran, Dion, JJ, and Justise. Nobody else. I guarantee the TOs would go down.
All that being said, I'm not too bummed over this loss. It's the Warriors for crying out loud, coming off a days rest, and catching us on a back to back. This team had been scoring 126 points a game in the last 3 before last night, so to hold them to 97 is a win for our defense, but our offense has to start taking better care of the ball. They do that, and we're gonna start seeing the wins pile up.
GO HEAT"

Good post
