This was posted on the Saints board:


The Way the SA mayor is talking, I largely suspect there have been back door meetings already going on, I suspect a combination of Private funds from the team, and from local business, and public funds from the City, to build a new staduim.

the public money will be lower than the full amount of the SBC center, and they already had the spurs, this will bring in a new team.... Something is already in the mix... I just off a phone call with a guy who would know and he implied as much....
