Anybody reading about this? looks like a few of them was dirty and pocketing some money and maybe killed a team member who was going to rat on them

Im sure there is some kind of nut job left/right political angle to this but if you are going to let people operate off the books and handle a lot of money you can expect a few to go dirty. If I was a cop and I walked into a drug room with a bunch of unmarked, untraceable cash lying on the table and there was no around I would be very tempted to take a lot of it

SEAL Team marketing dept gonna have and time whitewashing this

BTW, DoD spends about $500M / year on marketing

While DoD Can't find $100Bs, 1000s of Milo Minderbenders

Sorry, if I thought this was a rant against the right wing military complex and special interests:

Should know better since nuance and impartiality is usually your strong suit

Rob O'Neill is speaking at a seminar next month that I'll be at. Be interesting if anything comes out before then.

Read that. I guess we will see. Kind of hard to cover this shit up now.

The DoD has really shitty accounting, losing $100Bs for decades.

Remember the palette of $100 bills shipped to Iraq early after the invasion-for-BigOil? gone

I bet these SEALS had access to wads of $100Bs for "support", to bribe locals, to pay off families of non-combatants they murdered, etc, etc. and were simply pocketing it.

Meh I'd take a couple thousand dollars from the dopehouse and that's it. Money that doesn't spend is no good and especially big money you can't declare to Uncle Sam.
